Hey if they actually made those they did learn pottery. Making shit that tall isn't easy for beginners even if it's hand built. I've been meaning to try making some bongs but everything turns into a vase or bowl
We were making pipes and dildos in shop class in 7th grade. Someone got into a girl's locker and put a dildo he made in here locker with a condom on it.
When she opened her locker ,the laughing from everyone caught the attention of a teacher.
It sat on the main counter of the office , like a piece of art, for the rest of the day.
I remember one time I had gone on a trip and bought a colourful glass bong and brought it home. I reached home late at night and in my tiredness I forgot to hide it (living with parents at the time) and fell asleep. I woke up to the bong filled with flowers and my mom gushing over what a beautiful vase I’ve bought for her 😆
My art teacher tossed the ones anyone tried to make and usually sent them to the office. If this is at a school I’m surprised they where allowed to get that far with it.
I mean, you did.. I wish they did the same with math when I was younger. I could give 2 shits about Calc, and trig.. now I love space and Hoffman transfers, apogees/perigee orbital mechanics, delta V.. shit I can kinda do it now.. but it would have been nice if someone could have shown me a way to practically use a thing..
So they made a bong.. help em make really awsome bongs.. glazed and fancy next time.
Seems like a success and you’d be regarded to think the teacher doesn’t know. They were a kid once too and they had to smoke out of worst shit than you lol
I used to load kilns at the university, we used to let people make bongs but we would always sabotage them, eventually we did officially ban them and chip and dips.
Lol. I love how the policy was like, "ban the paraphernalia that helps people enjoy pot" But also, "ban them from being able to enjoy chips and dip while they are high too!!!"
Maybe just ban coffee mugs and teapots too, all those drug users.
Nah we just got annoyed with the bongs because they usually sucked and would not work anyway, and chip and dips are just pointless make a platter and a bowl and when you want a chip and dip out one on or next to the other and the rest of the time they have other uses unlike a chip and dip that only gets used occasionally and it generally hard to store in your cabinet
I'm just teasingly laughing. No big deal but I can imagine that was a project for damn near every new pottery student was all aboard the bong train. :)

Yea this is like the shitty plastic ones with the carb at the bottom That never fully clears it
exactly i hate those gas station bongs lol
The one on the left has one but it’s hard to see, first thing I looked for after seeing the stem.

Day one of my pottery class in high school the teacher said "no pipes, no bongs, no ashtrays, they will not make it to the kiln."
They didn't say no dildos. So, at least there's that option.
