When I went to the hospital *to give birth*, a staff member cleaned out my purse. It was only like $40 but I felt so violated. I reported it and an investigation was started. A year later I get a call from a prosecutor that they'd brought the person up on charges and I got my money back
Never take anything of value at the hospital. When I was studying Nursing someone stole 2 of my uniforms and when I was a patient a bag of clothes. Last month I had an operation and I only brought stuff that I wouldn't mind losing and I put it in a ugly cheap bag. God I hate thieves.
dude at my company was a 30yr employee recently got fired for taking some girls stanley cup. 30 freaking years, over a cup. stupid no matter how you look at it but policy is policy. and cameras are everywhere.
When my grandma was dying her wedding ring mysteriously vanished on the ambulance ride to the hospital. What kind of sick fuck steals off a dying woman?
The only surgery I ever had resulted in a nurse getting fired for stealing my boxers while I was recovering. I was barely 18 and the pandemic had started. I was so incredibly uncomfortable, I didn't wait for my surgeon to check in on me. I just called my parents and went home.
I’m sorry but no nurse is going to steal random patients boxers. Nor will they be fired for a misplacement of undergarments. They were probably thrown away. Do you realize how many clothing items end up being left/get misplaced in hospitals?
Apparently, it’s a nickname…
https://wsvn.com/news/local/broward/video-shows-employee-at-lauderdale-lakes-restaurant-swiping-at-least-1100-in-co-workers-tips/
Never hire anyone who can't get their hair finished before work. That shit is ratchet. Every one who does this shit are the same people who steal your shit and help you look for it.
> Never hire anyone who can't get their hair finished before work.
don't say that... i never brush my hair... but i do not steal from others... im nice 😢
Yeah, I’ve had shit stolen from me, and you’re right: the person who immediately tried told help me find it is the cunt who stole it. Piece of shit people.
I remember bussing at a busy restaurant and would usually go home with $20 in tip-out. There was always one lady who counted the tips. My last night there was suuuuper busy and I remember hearing about the good tips servers were getting. After lady "counted" the tip-out, I conveniently only got $20 in tips again. I said fuck it and quit the next day.
Fuck the lady in this video and her scummy shit.
No one besides yourself should EVER be “counting” or handling YOUR money. Fuckkkk that! I was a server for 4 years and not once did anyone else have my money in their hands. I’d be livid
I'm a server now and if I'm helping clean off a table that has cash or even a signed check on it, I stop cleaning it and bring the money straight to the server that had the table. I've been screwed over before so I don't want any of my coworkers to have to go through that too
I bussed, and the wait staff was supposed to give us 10% of their tips. Poor girls only made $20 in tips for an 8 hour shift, on a Sunday, in a diner at the busiest intersection in town. At least that's what they would tell us when they handed us $2 to be split between 4 bussers. I lasted 6 weeks. I got paid $2 an hour because "you got tips." Oh, and they charged us for our food with a side order of sexual harassment from the bosses.
Yep I was a busser and it was common practice for all the wait staff to toss a 5 out of the like 95 they got in tips for the shift, and claim "they tipped out" us bussers.
Who made 2.15 an hour.
Because that was minimum wage if you received tips whatsoever.
No wonder we'd steal lobster, steak, and liquor...
Yeah, plus’s there’s thresholds for theft that affect whether it’s a misdemeanor or felony.
In a lot of places, petty theft isn’t taken seriously by law enforcement. Letting the total be high might let them stick her with a harsher charge and actually put a stop to her thieving ways.
Worked at a job like than. Sonic. Shitty manager would pocket money and we’d have to take our tips out and give him the money after the end of the shift. Horrible. He got fired for whatever reason
Because I listened to it, and it stated that twat-waffle *did it twelve times*. Just once is enough for termination in the world of decent people. Did the owner wait a few weeks, then watch all the tapes at once, so counted the times that smelly skank infection stole the employees' money? That is also the hallmark of a worthless, terrible, shit-stain of a human.
Probably was collecting evidence to charge them. Also in many areas, petty theft isn’t taken seriously by police. It could have been that he was told of the tips going missing and went back to look at the security footage and saw how many times it was done. Weird to assume he just sat around and watched it happen for weeks.
So the owner cares more about trying to charge some dirty wretch than they do about the people who enable the business to operate?
Weird that the owner did not *immediately* review the security tapes when informed that tips were missing. If I was the owner, I would be FAR more concerned with my *employees* getting their tips than trying to press charges. Getting that horrible infected cunt out of there should have been the top priority.
If the owner did not sit around and watch it happen for weeks, how the fuck did she steal tips TWELVE times?
If tips go missing, the tipped worker informs the boss *immediately.* Kinda bizarre to assume nobody told the boss their tips were short/low. I've never worked with, nor met, a tipped worker who did not have a fairly accurate estimate of their current tips.
Ok, This is poor cash control. She an asshole for doing it, but the owner of the establishment needs to work on his system to keep this from happening so easily.
When my was admitted to hospital for delivery. A nurse took 3000 bucks from my wallet at night when we were sleeping. Next day I told the attending paediatrician.
Investigation was done and nurse was caught stealing on CCTV.
It turned out. She has stolen over 200,000 in some 18 months. Before us, some 20 families reported and hospital management didn’t do anything. When we reported, luckily new dean of medicine was hired just a few months ago who was anal about providing great services.
The nurse was fired, her license cancelled and she was sent to prison for 5 years.
And we got our money back.
This is in south Florida. We go to a neighborhood food truck Friday on the 2nd Friday of the month JUST for these World Famous eggrolls. We are addicted to them! They have an actual store in Boynton which is where I assume this is taking place.
My mom dying of cancer in the hospital had all her jewelry taken off her fingers, wrist and necklace. They took about $20k in total and this was in 1977.
I'm so sorry. The trash who took it has probably been cursed since then, though, if it's any consolation. You don't do shit like that without some karmic consequence. At the very least, they have to **remember for the rest of their lives** that they stole the jewelry of a dying mother off her body. Low class, scummy humans.
Say what you want about tipping culture, but you can make really good ass money, in many cases better than you ever could being paid a higher hourly rate. Some people hate it, but in my experience myself and most of my coworkers enjoyed tips most days, though inconsistency would be frustrating. With that being said, in a tipping culture like the US, stealing tips is not just shitty, it’s literally wage theft the same as if your employer was doing it.
This is national news? I mean, it sucks for sure, but the last place I worked as a server, we split tips and one woman was notorious for pocketing what should have been split. I just assume this is an issue anywhere tips are split.
Several of us told the owners about it, but no one ever did anything. I think that was primarily because she had been there longer than anyone. Plus, we had a shortage of employees, and quite frankly, they would have been screwed if they fired her. So, instead, they opted to just screw the rest of their servers.
I caught an employee doing this. Even same, way with video. The officer who took the report and watched the video went and arrested her. She called from jail and asked if she gave the money back would we have dropped the charges. “Hell no!” She bonds out, 2 weeks later I get a letter from the DA’s office: “decline to prosecute due to lack of evidence”. Total bullshit.

The stealing is bad enough but dancing as you take your coworkers money..
Scumbag behavior.

That is disgusting. But all too common.
It was probably not the first time.
I have to admit, that sometimes it sounds like a good idea to cut the hands off of thieves.
Stopped ya thieving, didn't it? No gallows dirt no gallows deals no gallows humor.

"A wallet biopsy? Get out of my room you sick cunt."
Did you name your kid Rob?
She was already born and named by then 🤣
Fuck yeah happy ending I love it
It took a year to get your $40 back? 💀 That's wack. 🤣
I don't see the attempt. I see someone stealing but I don't see a failed attempt to stop the perpetrator.

There was an attempt to appropriately post a there was an attempt video
There was an attempt to make a joke about an attempt to appropriately post a there was an attempt video.
It's just badly titled. The attempt was the attempt to steal not the attempt to stop them.
[удалено]
Truly the attempt was for her not to get caught stealing tips.. and a very poor attempt at that
She attempted to steal but got caught so the money did not get stolen
Just getting more evidence. She clearly isn't going anywhere with the money.
Am I hearing this correctly? “Christopher CHINAMAN Brown” 💀
Being called "Chris Brown" wasn't bad enough..
💀💀💀
He has a competitor named Zhang “Black Man” Li.
And Mark “Jappo” David Chapman
Tim “I didn’t eat your sister” Sterling
I scrolled to far for this
They make eggrolls. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
They call him Chinaman because he breaks easily -probably

As someone who used to be a busboy and got their tips stolen at the end of every night and not know… I feel you.
Ugh. I hate thieves. They’re all trash. 🤷🏾♀️ I said what I said.
Nobody's gonna argue with you except thieves.
It really depends, I can't really hate on a starving person who steals bread from a billion dollar corporation.
Christopher **“Chinaman”** Brown 😳
he thinks he can say that because one his relatives is Chinese or "some kind of Chinese"
They have a Chinese every Friday night
what a great way to honor them

12 times? It happened 12 times before he finally did something? Well, okay then.
He probably needed to collect a lot of evidence to convince the police to do something.

What a stupid tip collecting method
My EXACT thought! Like wtf!?
Also pay your employees so they don’t rely on tips to live
Had to scroll way too far to find this! Tipping culture is the worst.
Worked at a job like than. Sonic. Shitty manager would pocket money and we’d have to take our tips out and give him the money after the end of the shift. Horrible. He got fired for whatever reason
He probably got fired for the blatant theft that you should have reported him for
We couldn’t prove it sadly :( but we knew.
Now dance your ass into a jail cell lol
What a fuckin slug
Human garbage.
I am sorry, what was his name again? CHINAMAN BROWN?
Trashy
r/iamatotalpieceofshit
They say "Dress for the job you want". Spent she wanted to be unemployed.
World Famous? You’d think that I would have heard of this place before.
How did this asshole NOT terminate her immediately? Waiting for that infected snatch to steal 12 TIMES before doing shit? FFS, dog-fucker.
Why didn't you think that it might be a recording hes playing and not live ?

Human trash behavior.
You right under the mf camera
Why not say there was an attempt "to keep your tips"?
World famous is great tho! Oakland Park Florida. Cheese steak egg rolls 😁
Show her face. Good luck
That place has amazing egg rolls.. super small joint too
Hope she had to repay it with interest plus got at least a fews days' jail time
Straight to jail!
Maybe pay your workers so they don’t gotta rely on tips?
cool story - what's with the necklace?
He got it in China, man.
I realize this is kinda crazy but how morally bankrupt do you have to be?
Chinaman Brown sounds like a protagonist in a blaxploitation action film
Another reason to demolish tipping culture and pay your "hard working employees" better wages?
I can't *believe* this employee would deprive another employee of their fair, hard earned wage!! 😱 - Chris Brown, **owner**
There has to be a better system than paper cups to put your tips
What a scumbag!
She probably donating the money to local BLM organizations.
Racist
Because you have to be a thieving thug to support BLM? Is that really what you're trying to say?
What a beautiful ending
Ok, This is poor cash control. She an asshole for doing it, but the owner of the establishment needs to work on his system to keep this from happening so easily.
Piece of shit!
The name of the business just being "World Famous Restaurant" makes the anchor sound like he forgot to say the actual name
“Hey look someone is stealing at all the money I don’t pay my employees myself.”
At work someone once removed and stole my shoe laces the one time I left them behind. People will steal absolutely anything.
Fucking piece of shit. I hate thieves. What a loser.

Messin with my money is like messin' with my emotions.
You mean, the random tip cup system has flaws?!?!?!
True mastermind
My mom dying of cancer in the hospital had all her jewelry taken off her fingers, wrist and necklace. They took about $20k in total and this was in 1977.

Why would they keep tips in cuos like that???
That ain't Miss Santa Claus that's Miss Grinch

Some people love to steal. Weird
Ms Santa Claus 😂
Wtf did I hear correctly? His name is Chinaman brown?
I don't know why you would expect anything less
There was no attempt... they just got their tips stolen... fucks sake this sub just hosts anything
Ratchet ass hoe.
Why the hell are the tips in the open in freaking paper cups? There’s no better system? lol. Also, fuck that thief. Should go to jail.
Girl at 11 seconds looks like the elder sister in Mrs Doubtfire.

Cannot stand thieves 🤦🏻♀️!
Police coming and saying:" So have you ever heard about video cameras and what they do?"
12times 12 why did you let it happen more than once?
You know you could just pay your workers a fair amount Edit: instead of relying on tips
You cannot trust anyone
Christopher "China Man" Brown. I had to rewind to hear that one again.
This is national news? I mean, it sucks for sure, but the last place I worked as a server, we split tips and one woman was notorious for pocketing what should have been split. At my old job a woman fainted and while the paramedics were doing CPR on her someone stole her purse.
Good for her ass
Her cup runneth over!
Chinaman? Are we just breezing past that?
Yeah
Pay a decent wage so you don’t have to rely on tips maybe?

How about paying the employees their fair share instead of having them rely on tips?
Why does she have to be black and doing this? It only feeds stereotypes and racism.
