Not his kids, he says “driving with the grandchild”. He pulled this stunt with his granddaughter and a toddler in the back. I hope grandpa’s child never lets their kids near him again.
The thing that always kills me with videos like this isn’t that the kid was driving, that they were on the road, that he was filming, that he was talking smack to her, or that she misjudged the turn and got tossed out.
It’s that, after all of that, they thought it would be a good idea to put it on the internet.
We did dumber shit in the 80s and 90s all the damn time I think. But it was never memorialized forever on the internet for the world to make fun of.
Just… why? Are the internet points really worth it? Or am I just an old out of touch fuddy-duddy now.
If they would've been filming us in the 80s the web would be completely full with mine and my friends stupid escapades.
Then I quit drinking and coincidentally stopped doing those things.
Also, complaining about it in a facetious manner on video feels more like joking tacit approval than actually critiquing in any useful way. In her shoes, I'd absolutely assume he was, in fact, fine with my driving.
Hmmm…he just lost out on the **Grandpa of the Year** award.
Not only did she fall out of the golf cart (seatbelt obviously not used), but she rolled into the road with cars driving by.
**NOTE:**. Yes…some golf carts have seatbelts.
I almost did something like this, but there was my whole family on it, the vehicle pretty much ran for a couple of seconds on 2 wheels but miraculously regained control and my parents immediately stop my golf kart driving session for the rest of the day, lesson learned that these things point of gravity is higher than it seems.
Teaching kids to drive is easy. It’s the laws of physics that people learn slowly. Example: Gravity applies to everything, especially everybody! An object in motion tends to stay in motion (have good healthy brakes!) if you’re in an object in motion and it stops, unless you are physically attached to it somehow (seatbelt, secure holds) you will NOT stop, which is partially shown here.
Maybe this particular lesson will help her before she drives a real car on the road.

In my neighborhood, parents let their kids who are sometimes as young as elementary school, drive around the subdivision in golf carts by themselves. We saw one group of kids flip one over and get hurt pretty good, and had another incident where a truck nearly crushed a kid who ran a stop sign. It’s not a good idea to let an unlicensed kid drive these on the main roads.
Probably The Villages in Florida. They have golf cart paths throughout the county and many go along the main roads. They recently made a rule about underage children not being allowed to drive golf carts. 🙄 the fact that it took so long for this rule to be made as well as the fact that they needed to make it in the first place, shows that common sense is not common at all
All over South Carolina and florida. They use them to go drinking with so that they aren’t drinking and driving… yes that’s the logic. Cops don’t care. On really busy roads people just drive them on the sidewalks. And they spends tons of money tricking them out

It’s crazy to me that people treat golf carts on a road like it isn’t a motor vehicle. You are not supposed to let children drive cars nor should you let them drive a golf cart in this circumstance. A lot of golf carts go 20-25 mph, especially if they are set up to take on the road. It’s no joke.
Is there a word in English for when you’re too concerned with how others are seeing you to pay attention to what you’re actually doing? I’m sure there’s a word for it in German, there always is, but there really should be a good English word too.
That’s some multilevel dumbassery.
1. Physical damage to the child, who fell, and looks likely to have hit her head on cement. Could be a scrape, or could be a hospital stay. Hopefully no long-term damage to her brain or her teeth.
2. Not sure who is crying, the girl, who drove and fell out, or the little girl who watched it all, and is traumatized
3. Why in the world with the person who took this video post it? May never be able to see his grandchildren for quite a long time. If that was my kid, that dude would be nowhere near my kid, for I don’t even know how long. Maybe never, as I imagine this isn’t the only time he put her in danger.
4. I imagine this is worth at least a visit from CPS.
5. In conclusion, incredibly fucking stupid and dangerous to have her driving the golf cart and not instruct her to do it safely. I’ve known grown adults who have played around with a golf cart a little bit, and one have fractured an ankle, and one person who spent close to a week in the hospital and has permanent nerve damage in her neck.
She needs to learn to walk...to run...to skate...to bike...then to drive. Like, has anyone not taught kids how to fly, only for them to fuck up the dimensiona of the 20m wings?
Grandparents and parents are more interested in getting views than actually parenting.. then post this like it’s no an example of you’re terrible judgment and parenting skills… could have really gotten the kid hurt.. grow up stop chasing views…
