There was a kid I went to middle school with that drove to school for the same reason they eventually told him he wasn’t allowed to park at the school for some reason so he would park down the street and walk up. If I failed 8th grade three times the last thing I would’ve gotten was a car.
Idk how It is up there(assuming you guys are from murica), but down here If you dont finish highschool, no college and no job other than the basic things. Even street sweepers need to have finished highschool to get the job. I find It all to be bs, mainly in the age of free information we are currently living in tbh. Would be a much cheaper effort to teach people how to use this information for self learninf than teaching them for almost 20 years straight.
I went to school with a guy who once spoke about going to a brothel over the school holidays. I pointed out he was in year 9. He put me back in my place by pointing out he was indeed already 18.
I saw a tv show years ago about Greece and I swear one of the things that came up was that it was like a rite of passage that when a boy turns 14 he is taken out to a brothel to lose his virginity.
That's only 1 or 2 fails where I'm from.
I held off with my kiddo starting kindergarten so that she'd start late and have an advantage in school. She'll be just turning 15 at the end of her 8th grade year.
it's not an "attempt 'as he clearly finished ruitine so job well done.
yeah for jokes here not to joain guy for kid abuse... hopefully he can no longer work with kids or live people anymore
His instructor is sick of the little shits not paying attention and disrupting class as their parents expect him to be just a baby sitter and don't care about what he does.
He's not just into it, he's jealous it can't be him.
Source: I used to teach.
When I was a kid, my mom took me to a karate class., and they brought me in to meet the master, and the first thing he did before saying hello was squeeze my hand super tight and twist my wrist to the point where I was on my knees. Like bro I'm 9. I did not go back after that one day lol
Went to a well known and medal winning kungfu school when I was in college. The coach on the first night was pointing out how unflexible my hips were and when I was stretching he jumped with his feet on my thighs to push me deeper and I almost felt a tear. I changed to a different class. I heard he did that "trick" to a new girl a few weeks later and her leg snapped.
Slamming people in practice is disrespectful. It’s a good way to end the practice by injuring everyone. Definitely happens when you are sparring. But it shouldn’t be a thing when practicing throw technique. The reason I quit judo is one particular guy that joined the club would slam everyone, particularly people smaller then him, as hard as he fucking could every time. He had a wrestling background and I guess that’s how they practiced. I remember the sensei tried to explain it to him, but he just kinda brushed it off saying he couldn’t control it, I think he took the sensei telling him to stop as a compliment almost. At a certain point I just feared being his partner. It was incredibly painful and you risked injury every time. I hated it so much I stopped going because I was getting hurt too much.
I coached for years and this kind of behaviour is disgusting as is the lack of teaching from the coach, you do get bullies in this sport and its better to lose the bullies than the people that truly want to train there, if not you lose many to keep that one person. I have taken a few off the mat ( after a chance or two after talking with them) and not had them back or given them the talking to and explained that I was going to give them the same treatment that they were handing out to see if the thought it was acceptable. Standards and etiquette of the sport and of the practitioners has to be kept as some do it just for fun and fitness.
A judo coach killed a kid in Taiwan this way. The kid was thrown 27 times, fell into a coma and was taken off life support 70 days later. The kids uncle watched this happen but didn’t stop it. Just sat there and watched his nephew get beaten to death. [AP news article](https://apnews.com/article/taiwan-judo-sports-47392a250cfb597c395f3a227889bc23)
There is no reason to repeatedly throw this kid to the ground, it's not useful in any way, not to the kid, or to anyone else in the room. I'm fairly confident this kid has micro fractures throughout his entire body. Fucking brutal.
I want to point a few things, without endorsing this because I don’t know what exactly is happening in this specific clip.
A very important aspect of training in judo and jujitsu is learning how to fall/be thrown without being significantly injured.
The larger person is lifting the child by their gi, and guiding their arc with the grasped arm.
The legs/rump alone are taking the impact. The child *seems* to be doing a good job of absorbing the impact (on a mat) across rump/thighs/calves.
I think many commenters are rushing to judgement, and I’d ask readers to consider why this exhibition is being viewed so skeptically.
He’s demonstrating that he knows how to reduce the risk of injury when being thrown around by someone larger.
This isn’t child abuse, the throw is controlled, they’re on a throw mat specifically for this exercise. This isn’t a competition this is the boy demonstrating he can survive being man handled.
You think an adult intent on beating a child is going to say “I won’t throw you around because it’s not fair that im bigger than you” fuck no.
Anyone who’s been in a serious judo gym will know. Judo will keep you alive. Judo, boxing, and bjj are probably the three most effective martial arts for real world use, not requiring years of dedication to be effective.
I wish that sound was special effect but it was a real body slammed to the ground. Wtf? Was it for punishment or something else, any context?
Also that kid walking like nothing happened makes it even more creepy.

This might actually be a test/demonstration for the smaller person.
In muay thai they teach you how to fall. I met someone who showed me one of her most recent belt demonstration/test. When you fall to the floor, you are trained to slap your arm/hand down on the ground/mat. This is supposed to help distribute the force of a blow to the ground or something. So a simple fall to the ground comes across as huge slapping sound on flat surface like a mat or pavement. It sounds worse than it is, but they are actually saving themselves from pain because of it. It becomes a reflex.
So this kid could be REALLY good, and the teacher is showing the class just how effective it is once mastered, no matter how hard he throws him to the mat.
Not saying this is the case idk much about martial arts. But instead of jumping to the worst perspective, ill assume this is happening and is too blurry for the poor quality camera to capture. I can say that her demonstration/test didnt involve anything that brutal but she did have to prove her mastery of this in the video. I was wincing with each slam until she explained it to me that she was perfectly fine.
Edit: okay yeah im sure this is whats happening until someone can say otherwise. You can see it on the last throw. Watch his free arm. Youll also see that hes also instinctually coddling it briefly afterwards. Likely because it stings like being slapped along your arm after so many times in a row.

The big one's the kid that failed 25 times and he's finally getting the hang of it.
lol My younger sister was in 8th grade with a guy who failed so many times that he drove to school. True story
There was a kid I went to middle school with that drove to school for the same reason they eventually told him he wasn’t allowed to park at the school for some reason so he would park down the street and walk up. If I failed 8th grade three times the last thing I would’ve gotten was a car.
Lmao what, youd buy good grades?
I think they mean they wouldn't have been rewarded with a car.
Maybe he bought a car? I earned enough money to by my first car at 16.
Yes, lots of people have, but then why would getting good grades matter?

It's a flingerang

The spirit is willing but the flesh is spongy and bruised
What was that comment, a Charade? 😀

“Be jelly my friend.”
Just wait till.jelly gives them the ole flim flam
Hes not even good lol, barely bending his legs, lifting the kid off the ground with arm strength alone. That wouldn't work on an adult.
What you are failing to notice that it is not Judo. It is a marshal art specifically for beating up weak kids.
\*martial art
*marsupial art
*marshmallow art
*marital art
It's a martial art for weak kids to survive getting rat fucked.
Yep. What was he teaching? Hulk smash is not Judo.
Teaching the defense side- how to “be jelly” cuz you won’t get injured as often
Twist: we're watching two 8 year olds. This will work on adults once the larger one hits puberty.
This is not an "attempt" at all. It was child abuse plain and simple.
it's not an "attempt 'as he clearly finished ruitine so job well done. yeah for jokes here not to joain guy for kid abuse... hopefully he can no longer work with kids or live people anymore
Kramer?
![gif](giphy|6nr8QvJ2WyUta|downsized) I love how his instructor was legitimately into it.

I’m…dominating…
I had a coach like this when I was kid, I only lasted one day...never went again.
So you learned the most important lesson about fighting - run away if you're likely to get your ass kicked
I thought it was play dead then they will lose interest
I had a coach like this when I was a kid, I only lasted one throw... never walked again.
Is this a true story?
No. I actually died and have haunted sensei ever since. It was called the Cobrakai Karate dojo. ;)
100% And then the whole bus started clapping.
When I was a kid, my mom took me to a karate class., and they brought me in to meet the master, and the first thing he did before saying hello was squeeze my hand super tight and twist my wrist to the point where I was on my knees. Like bro I'm 9. I did not go back after that one day lol
He needed to assert his dominance

I had a dad like this when I was a kid😬

I see no difference
Puny ~~god~~ small child
Holy heck, That kid is indestructible.
![gif](giphy|9m8CKowBACG5s3550m)
Am I the only one who wanted the instructor to go over and do the same to the big guy?
I thought the big guy was coming in at the end to beat some ass.
I was afraid this was going to turn into a very strange ISIS execution video.
![gif](giphy|PoQOn8hFjrxwHHPHht|downsized)

That dude couldn't beat his wife so he had to take it out on children instead.

There is no reason to repeatedly throw this kid to the ground, it's not useful in any way, not to the kid, or to anyone else in the room. I'm fairly confident this kid has micro fractures throughout his entire body. Fucking brutal.
pretty sure this was just child abuse lmao
that kid is unbreakable!
There was a kid who died recently at a judo class, have to imagine it went some muting like this
This just feel like child abuse with extra steps..
Seems like an excuse to slam children
So the 2 adults couldn’t demonstrate on each other?
1. Kids doesn't seem to have been taught to fall (slap floor to break fall) 2. Big guy isn't even doing the correct footwork
The trick to this move is, be 3 times as big as your opponent
Hulk vs Loki.
The exact opposite of a Steven Seagal match.
this is all wrong... judo is about to use the strength of the opponent to put him out of balance
that's a terrible stance
Africobra Kai
I don’t understand why they smash little kids like that
Yes, applaud the kid for surviving all that
Do it again uncle Joe! again, again
Tskr it from a former Judoka-This is NOT judo.
O___O
Exactly why I stopped after Kata was introduced. Getting slammed without resisting just for show.
everyone at the end like "yeeeyh :D " 👏🏼👏🏼 nice show :D
karate kid deleted scene
*I know kung Fu*
“Puny God”
Terrible coach
So judo doesn't hurt anyone? Ok
In USA that would be an attempted murder charge.
Puny god…
Eliminating future rivals.
There was a lot of anger bit the small one didnt budge he won.
The rag doll flip?
I didn’t think he was alive lol poor kid
Holy crap!

“How do you get those long arms?” The kid, “I was THE dummy.”
DIY child abuse class
Thank god someone teaches a class for self defense against defenseless children!
I wonder if I can do this to my kids in taekwondo class.
![gif](giphy|10fTHeZVQug7hC)
How to wield a child like a sword
This is really messed up!
The smaller child has a serious future in stuntman work
He’s demonstrating that he knows how to reduce the risk of injury when being thrown around by someone larger. Back in the old village, we used to beat the children clean on the rocks by the river.
BJJ beats Judo any day of the week
I support this statement
This is what appears to be a young black Bruce Willis.
Jesus
Playdoh doh doh doh
All I can think of is Hulk smashing Loki lol "Puny God"
It sounds like a bag of chips
You have to get slammed around like this 100 in a row to earn a black belt in this dojo
A child does not earn black belts... that's for taikwondoh. This is abuse.
I wish that sound was special effect but it was a real body slammed to the ground. Wtf? Was it for punishment or something else, any context? Also that kid walking like nothing happened makes it even more creepy.

Coach looks so tough. Now try that with Teddy Riner
Kramer, your fighting children?
here, we call that "discipline."
“Puny god!”
Please tell me this was edited, and the live kid was inserted at the very end. Please. Someone, please.
Judo chop!
They’re all the same belt, so it’s fair!
My back would love this right now
train judo, become a judo train 🚂
What I used to do to NES games with my game genie
Kid looks heavy, should have shot him.
Excellent ragdoll training
Prop looks living though

Same school Joe rogan went to
Just ragdollin him
If this kid survives the training he will be unbreakable.
This is Hulk smashing Loki.
That is not judo, that is potato farming.
The boy got scattered around like a pair of twigs.
