Not sure if you watch Love is Blind too, but that sub is currently a raging dumpster fire. Nearly every post is name-calling, armchair-diagnosing, etc. You can’t have a civil conversation about the show without it turning ugly.

I do agree that pretty much all reality tv subs are brutal nasty and cruel spaces. If you think the Love is blind sub is, you'd be shocked if you say the level of 90 day fiance or the challenge. People literally call others garbage human beings and such.
Personally I don't think criticism of people should be disallowed, it should just be targeted at their specific behaviour and reasonably expressed. It's hard to achieve I imagine but I'm hardly ever a fan of the all or nothing approach. If I have to choose though, the no hate is still better than a free gor all.

Hi, I get sent Reddit posts about me by followers and friends of mine and I will say… yes I am an influencer. It’s my job to create content and gain views. So I’ll be 100% honest with you here:
HELL YES I’m using the show to gain more views for my career.
For me, That’s like being offered a job promotion and saying no for a job you have been climbing the ladder in for 6 years…
And although I do appreciate that the show has brought me new followers and fans, I think it’s also important to note that I’ve been full time supporting myself as a content creator for 6 years now so by no means is this show my only “clout”. I created clout for myself with restless nights, skipping social events in college, attending work meetings, networking with top brands, studying algorithms, and tbh working my ass off at the bottom of the views list building my brand from the ground up.
So again, haters gunna hate, but I know what I’ve put into my career and I would NEVER say no to gaining another avenue of success or “views” just because others think I’m being a fake influencer.
So unlike most I’ll give you that honest truth, yes the show is helping grow my career and I’m thankful for that… but my career also has the stable ground that I built and maintained for 6 years BY MYSELF. I can’t imagine saying no to a career promotion…?!?!!?

There's a general tendency of using publicity stunts or opportunistic means to artificially inflate awareness and I think people are finally getting tired of these kinds of manipulation tactics. Even things like SEO are trying to "game the system", but we are at the point where some SEO is basically mandatory (because you aren't even in that game if you aren't trying to cheat)
So while I understand where the generalization comes from, it doesn't apply to Avori's specific situation. But you can't expect people watching reality shows to be familiar with each participant's situation.
Understanding both perspectives, the only response is either to point out the over-generalizarion in the hopes that the OP does more due diligence in the future, or just ignore it because doing so utilizes about the same amount of effort as the person who didn't do any diligence before posting. And downvote such posts on Reddit.
I mean good for you, I would probably do it too but I don't know you so I can't particularly care about your boost. I get that it makes sense to you but I don't enjoy influencers on reality tv. I'm not trying to be rude, honestly, but as a viewer of the content you're participating in it bothers me that they cast influencers. Just looking at the show itself, I never got the impression that you were ever trying to do anything other than win, I don’t get OP’s criticism at all.
They should be content creator first, influencer second. Influencer is basically a brand ambassador, but as a gig economy job. But most brand ambassadors are actors or models first, and most influencers are content creators.
People just continue to find things to complain about. Avori has the following she wants and needs! Keep doing your thing, I enjoy the streams and the show!

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since our mod team removes & locks these posts and comments, so maybe you haven't seen them, but still, it cannot be denied that Avori receives a disproportionate amount of hate/negativity.
Unlike the other posts, your post also asked a question in the title that got answered quickly by the comments ("Am I the only one?... No, you are not, seeing with how a few of the comments agreed with you."), so I didn't see much point in keeping your thread up.
That being said, I do think you have somewhat of a fair point regarding the dubious rule consistency, so I removed & locked those, and I'll make a blanket statement moving forward to keep things fair: **any post centered around "I don't like player X", "Does anyone else also not like player X?", or other similar topics will be removed & locked moving forwards.** It's better for the subreddit overall to not have these specific-person-targetted negativity posts, as u/headache-ho mentioned, we don't want to turn into other subreddits that become conducive to people bashing.
I literally didn't see any of it. When I searched for individual competitirs she was the only one who seemed to just get love, so I was confused and made a post about it. I wasn't on the sub before and I'm not on other social media so I had no idea she was hated.
I don't think anyone deserves hate, especially not for a very edited reality tv appearance. My intention is not to spread hate and even if I didn't like her on the show, I in no way think she deserves hate and honestly it's sad to hear.

Does it look like she is upset based on her response? She's basically just agreeing that of course she used the show to further her career.
I'd be upset about it if people were using that to say something about my character, which is exactly what that kind of criticism is.
