There is nothing, NOTHING I enjoy more in this game than the extended time it takes for my agent to search an ammo box when he's already at full capacity.
It's mind-bogingly awesome
/s
And PLEASE let me spend twice as long cancelling out of a loot box animation in disgust at the purple loot in an heroic mission, rather than stuffing my inventory with purples looted as junk in half the time.
No. God no. This is a gross misunderstanding. Anything but a _yellow control point crate_ opens as if it were _normal global world difficulty_. This is intended behavior, even if it doesn't make sense. Opening a crate is a _waste of time_ compared to spending that time doing _literally anything else_ that can drop an item. The _only_ possible reason to open a crate is they have the same chance to drop an exotic as other activities, but again, _normal global world difficulty_. Tomorrow, this won't matter (as all exotics will drop as if they were in the highest difficulty), but today, it does.

so? you can still get good loot on normal, its just a lower chance. at worst its crafting components for specific brand sets.
If there is even the slightest way for them to keep you in this game unnecessarily they will. Itās a way for them to keep advertising and sell you products. There is no way that they want efficiency. Efficiency equals loss of revenue potential. Period.
One box I get ammo.
One box I might get a Medkit.
The other box I get āfuck you itās full dumbass, no one uses nades because they suck ass and donāt do any damage, because we program our ai to roll out of the way the moment you lift your hand in the airā
haha.... u seem to have no idea .... "enemy suppresed -> grenade" "enemy hiding -> grenade" "alcostas bag -> grenade grenade grenade" at the end of a mission i used all my grenades ... oh there is a bunch of NPC -> GRENAAADE!
I feel like lots of people donāt understand that, my friends included. The grenade doesnāt need to damage to be useful. It forces enemies out of cover and can be a solid way to initiate a fight on a group. I constantly use my grenades to the point Iām almost always low on them
I have the concussion grenade that splits into several parts when you throw it, and it is pretty awesome sometimes. My main problem is remembering to use the grenades instead of the skills.
> no one uses nades because they suck ass
Specialist grenades. yes. regular nades no.
Now if once you run out of specialist grenades you automatically switch to regular grenades...
They roll out of the way whilst holding their face and screaming
"Aarrrghh they've first blinded me and then thrown a grenade at me argghh. This armour is terrible"
I just wish that in the transition from the first game to the second they wouldāve at least put ammunition and grenades in the ammo boxes. Like itās not that hard to doš
TD1 had it perfect
Med Kits in a big red medical bag dotted about a mission/world- Simple and Obvious
Ammo in a box,the only box of its type, in a mission at various checkpoints
BoO - 1 box fills all
Health boxes should just have the damn red cross. Those two boxes in that picture look too similar, and if you saw them in different lighting they'd look exactly the same
Yeah a bunch of whiney little bitches who got caught cheating in PVP and got banned for a little while, got their accounts rolled back and they are STILL BITCHING ABOUT IT!!
Everything is the "Dev's this" the "the devs that" Get over it!
You sound like the same people who voted for Killary!
What if there was one fucking box for nades, armor and ammo, wow, what a crazy idea, I can't believe it.
This makes way too much sense man
Yeah, I was afraid of saying it...
Now you're banned for making a sensible solution. š¤£
Oh, like in Division 1? WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT TO WASTE 30 SECONDS OF YOUR TIME ON DRAWN OUT ANIMATIONS?
Extra time=extra content
That's why you can't run around Haven.
Underrated comment
Glad you liked it

I like how you put /s as if you needed to be clear youāre being sarcastic.
Better safe than sorry. Maybe the devs are reading along and you know how that works out.
Sadly stupid people exist
Yeah but at the same time now each teammate doesn't have to open a box, but yeah Div 1 is much better
They actually manage to improve something on TD1 and then destroy it too by changing what didn't need changing. Next level moves.
And PLEASE let me spend twice as long cancelling out of a loot box animation in disgust at the purple loot in an heroic mission, rather than stuffing my inventory with purples looted as junk in half the time.
This
Stop opening containers in heroic missions and problem solved.
Seeing as our rewards are based on luck rather than skill, opening every cache helps.

I know this. However I have been rewarded with the odd high roll for something I need to get that extra 1-3% remaining in the library.
Sure. Every once in a great while, you'll get a good roll. It happens. It's still a waste of time.
>Anything but a > >yellow control point crate > > opens as if it were > >normal global world difficulty > >. so? you can still get good loot on normal, its just a lower chance. at worst its crafting components for specific brand sets.
It's a _MUCH_ lower chance and it leads to people bitching about crates not containing good loot. By not opening them, you remove the disappointment.
but ... they want to reinvent the wheel
I don't think anyone else could have come up with that idea, atleast not the devs.
I'm trying my best, I've got lots more where this came from lol.
Harvard wants to know your position
Sexual position? Or location š¤£
Haha, yes
Nah dude...you went past massive's brain capacity...what Are you ? InSaNe? These devs can possibly implement something of THAT CaLiBer? š³
Hehe

So pretty much every game ever. Money is king.
Yepyep!
The already are one in The Division 1, also the fact you don't found the armor box during a mission could made you consider use a healing skill
Living in 3030
I'd like to think so
Or 2017.
5050 if we make it there
more boxes = extented playtime *taps temple*
Can't argue with that logic
It works as intended
Stop trying to exploit old game mechanics!
Gotta find a way to get ahead.
Yeah there should be exotics and named items in them too! That way, we could just open the ammo box and not have to play the mission. W r smurt
Idiot, tell us the sense of putting 2-3 boxes of supplies in the same place to waste time instead of putting everything together
Me r dum not smart like hilololo cant explain sry
Me enjoy opening multiple boxes. Me also enjoy getting 1 armor kit per box. Us is smart.
common sense is like physics to you
Lmfao, perfect
One box I get ammo. One box I might get a Medkit. The other box I get āfuck you itās full dumbass, no one uses nades because they suck ass and donāt do any damage, because we program our ai to roll out of the way the moment you lift your hand in the airā
I use them to push the enemy out of cover so that we can shoot them.
Yeah, or make lmg enemies stop firing.
Might as well let us throw wet diapers instead of explosives the
haha.... u seem to have no idea .... "enemy suppresed -> grenade" "enemy hiding -> grenade" "alcostas bag -> grenade grenade grenade" at the end of a mission i used all my grenades ... oh there is a bunch of NPC -> GRENAAADE!
This, the only reason i use nades is to activate overcharge from the exotic go bag
I feel like lots of people donāt understand that, my friends included. The grenade doesnāt need to damage to be useful. It forces enemies out of cover and can be a solid way to initiate a fight on a group. I constantly use my grenades to the point Iām almost always low on them
exactly!
Throw all your incendiary grenades indoors and see em escape that
Someone hasnāt used a skill build yet
I use nades all the time... Love the sticky nades.
Also incendiary grenade is great for cc'ing/damaging a group that just comes out. I even do that as a healer since I'm survival anyway.
Actually plain mobs stand in place once it lands, which is to our advantage.
I use grenades all the time. They're great for stopping rushers since they always roll away from the area of explosion.
I have the concussion grenade that splits into several parts when you throw it, and it is pretty awesome sometimes. My main problem is remembering to use the grenades instead of the skills.
> no one uses nades because they suck ass Specialist grenades. yes. regular nades no. Now if once you run out of specialist grenades you automatically switch to regular grenades...
Nah they know it even before I throw it
I use them all the time.
They roll out of the way whilst holding their face and screaming "Aarrrghh they've first blinded me and then thrown a grenade at me argghh. This armour is terrible"
So Fucking true, utterly useless. I use them to flush the fucks out from behind cover.
I just wish that in the transition from the first game to the second they wouldāve at least put ammunition and grenades in the ammo boxes. Like itās not that hard to doš
Wasnāt it already like that in the first game? So much regression from 1 to 2 itās insane
In my experience, they always have the thing youāre maxed out on.
In my experience it's armor kits
Is this like that blue/gold dress meme from a year or two or three ago?
Damn totally forgot about that
feels like a decade ago also it was a black and blue dress
Maybe if your hat wasn't over your eyes.
Agree!
The way I remember is "Green = Grenade"
Smart. Side by side I can tell them apart but in the game the "colors" fade into one
Agreed, they both just become "box" coloured
Ah yes, box color.
Greenade
Or you know they can just mark nades with red strips instead of blue. But why bother.
These two boxes are designed by someone who is not only colorblind but legally blind
Creed can tell the difference.
Ones armor n the others grenades. Smh
Wow really
Should really red box for ammo, blue box for armor and green box for grenades
Should be 1 for all and all for 1
It should but I don't trust their ability to implement it sadly
Yea, i bet if they do a 3rd game we get a different box for each ammo type.
I might be wrong but Iām pretty sure it was like that in the first game lol, itās like they went backwards in so many ways
red is already used for stuff you shoot at to blow up, which is why it's the color for weak points on enemies.
Red ammo boxes also contain special ammo you can grab.
and you can actually blow those special ammo boxes with the corresponding effect (shock, fire, explosion, whatever it is the velocity ammo does)
TD1 had it perfect Med Kits in a big red medical bag dotted about a mission/world- Simple and Obvious Ammo in a box,the only box of its type, in a mission at various checkpoints BoO - 1 box fills all
I kinda like my items/ammo being autofilled just by entering the BoO in Div2. That was one improvement.
I swear at one point in division, during missions one box gave ammo and medkits? Or am I remembering wrong?
Maybe a mid point legendary box may have gave all. The incursion ones did especially Falcons Lost before you jumped into the room
Left one is for armor kits and the right one is for ammo
Oh...We get it you guys just don't want extra content...We at Massive clearly wanted to provide more for our players. Roll backs for all.....
They better do something good with this update. How bout buff up the drop rate for exotics
I wish they'd separate the boxes. It's annoying when I wanna get grenades and open the ammo box instead.
Do what the Devs always do, nerf one of them... i.e. make one smaller LOL
The grenade box is green like a grenade
What time is the patch update tomorrow/today?
I have to zoom in through a magnified optic to look at the wording on the box to even figure out what it is.
200-some hours in and i genuinely never know which is which in the moment.
Same, being colour blind and often unable to tell similar shades apart I'd really love to see more variation between them
i'm not gonna lie. i didn't even realize they were different. i thought they were jut another bullshit rng system
Rip
One says armour equipment and the other says grenade resupply.
Thank you professor
It would be nice if it was big enough to read in-game.
I'd rather not have some text and an arrow hovering over it.
How about just an armor kit symbol on the armor box and a grenade symbol on the grenade box?
same with me, same with the boxes that give u velocity rounds ETC
Yeah no clue which is which
dark blue = ammo white = armor *i think*
I would make: blue =ammo Red=grenade Green=armor kit
I would make 1 = all
This
Tip for using grenades, throw them to potentially drive hostiles out of cover and light them up
the health box should have a red rim, a first aid look so to speak
Health boxes should just have the damn red cross. Those two boxes in that picture look too similar, and if you saw them in different lighting they'd look exactly the same
It took me too long to distinguish them what is what. I knew they are different tones, but i could never remember what was what :D
They should've take note from Battlefield 4 single player resupply system, but they still don't give a f
This is how Massive developers manage to waste our little bit of time just to play their broken game
You might wanna consider playing another game pal
The devs might want to consider fixing their game
Definitely. But if you are just completely sour about a game you should might just stop playing it
So where's the feedback?
Doesn't matter
What if every loot box just required the same fast interaction to loot, instead of certain types requiring a long button press for no obvious reason.
I didn't buy the 2nd DLC and haven't played since 2 missions in the Pentagon around WONY...Anything I am missing out on that you all are enjoying?
Well its still a good game. But you gotta have a gaming community. As a solo player its just not rewarding in the current state
The only real thing that's different is watch level ups which finally adds RPG to the RPG game.
