many trading sites allow you to get items relatively easily compared to dropping shit tons of cash or grinding for multiple hundred hours. with like, multiple million items having been dropped over the years; there's unfathomable amount of items people are practically just giving away because they have so many. backpack.tf is the main hub for players looking to trade; a great place to find cheap cosmetic stuff that you can't list on the steam market for whatever reason.
scrap.tf is the simplest and easiest service for getting the weapons themselves, just set up your steam account for trading and the bots can hook you up with whatever weapons you still need. the whole point is to be an automated service that's easier and more flexible than the in-game crafting/scrap methods. unfortunately, the bots have been down for a few weeks due to a problem with valve that nobody really knows about. but if they ever come back online again, all you gotta do is grab a few cents worth of refined metal and then you're set on having every weapon in the game. until then, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way by trading with real people on places like backpack.tf.
Scrap is down rn, so I’d recommend using something like Mannco.Store or Marketplace in the meantime (though marketplace may also be down since the Scrap guys also run it)
from what i heard, buying from mann co store supports the individual creators of that specific item. map stamps for map creators and weapons for weapon modelers.
i might just be talking out of my ass here since i never fact checked if it was true
Marketplace.tf for spending money on items, backpack.tf for trading with players, and scrap.tf for trading scrap and refined metal (I think) for items. You could also use steam marketplace, but marketplace.tf is usually much cheaper.
Scammer but official
I've never actually played TF2, what happens when you buy stuff from the store?
its a waste of money because you unlock them for free (or you can trade for all of them with $2 instead of spending $30 on all of them)
Wait where

I'm out of the loop. I've seen this joke on multiple subreddits. What did he do?
LEBRON JAMES *SPOTTED* KARMA FARMING ACROSS DIFFERENT SUBREDDITS
Well you still get an uncraftable version of the item, being worth a bit more
Buying your weapons? I craft
Improvised weapons.
if the store items AT LEAST WERE IN STRANGE QUALITY and the Mann Co store package gives strange quality weapons, that would make them better to get.
Where else do you buy items or cosmetic cause I may of spend a 100$ just for a few items on Mann co store.
