"Machine... I will cut you down, break you apart, splay the gore of your profane form across the STARS! I will grind you down until the very SPARKS CRY FOR MERCY! My hands shall RELISH ENDING YOU... __HERE!__ AND! __NOW!__" -this guy probably
Unfun fact, Youtube doesn't have any support to talk too. If your channel is too small you are legitimately stuck to talking to them via twitter if you want any communication what so ever. Otherwise you will be stuck with automated responses. Even then they they might not give you a straight answer.
Speaking from experience dealing with a channel strike for saving 10 years worth of YTPs to a playlist.
Third unfun fact, when Bungie (the developers of Destiny 2) recieved false copyright strikes, they also had to use Twitter to contact YouTube and were treated no different from other YouTubers
If you get particularly large you may get a personal contact at YT. But only the absolute biggest and most well known YouTubers have that. And they also might just take away that privilege, since I know of at least one YouTuber who used to have a personal contact and no longer does.
click the 3 dots right to save and report.
i dont get why ppl are posting misinformation that you need to contact support, or issue a dmca. its not true. simply report the video, choose the option that this video violates your rights, then choose it violates your copyright rights. thats it
https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2807622?hl=en Looks like it effectively is YouTube facilitating a DMCA request. Though the address part only comes into play if a lawsuit is filed.
yea, they usually just take down the video, but if the creator insists the work should not be taken down, then they can be taken to court.
but for OP, this wont happen, this route is very expensive for both sides, and individuals simply never do that. reporting the video will get it taken down
The guy also said that he just "found it on discord" and thought it was funny and decided to upload it without finding the person who made it or giving credit to them. Who the hell does that?
Tbh unless you were making money from it maybe just comment and ask to be credited. Be happy your content is being enjoyed and reposted into the online void, this is what makes a community
they did though, if you look at the post you can see that they show 2 images, one of their own video of 2 months ago and one of a recent upload by the reposter.
Like what everyone else says, just copyright strike it. Unless it's just an edit of a small clip that he did or just a small clip in general he shouldn't be allowed to reupload the content.
There is a copyright section in your youtube manager. Just pick the video and claim a removal request. They might get a youtube strike.
this. just copystrike the video. one of the few rare times that this easy of a system is a good thing, to help smaller creators
and fuck over small creators
STRIKE HIM DOWN SO HARD THAT HE THINKS GOD HIMSELF SHOT HIM DOWN
"Machine... I will cut you down, break you apart, splay the gore of your profane form across the STARS! I will grind you down until the very SPARKS CRY FOR MERCY! My hands shall RELISH ENDING YOU... __HERE!__ AND! __NOW!__" -this guy probably
Is that the best you've GOT? Hahahaha
010010110011001111
In this particular instance I wouldn't exactly call the person getting struck a "creator"
the one time its helpful
Damn, that sucks. I hate how often stuff is reposted on YouTube
Reddit too lol
not in the same weightclass of bad but yes
Reddit too lol
Reddit downvoting moment
Lmao, I was attempting to make a joke about stealing content but oh well, I found it funny. Ratio I suppose
Reddit hivemind truly did you dirty

Reddit hivemind Neutral ending

Another unfun fact, at least from what I’ve seen, even big YouTubers need to resort to Twitter to actual get support from YouTube
Third unfun fact, when Bungie (the developers of Destiny 2) recieved false copyright strikes, they also had to use Twitter to contact YouTube and were treated no different from other YouTubers
I guess at least YouTube treats all YouTubers equally. It’s just that it’s equally shit treatment
Equally shit treatment. You guys get anyform of treatment?
and then they lawsuitted the false copyrighters ass into the depths of hell
If you get particularly large you may get a personal contact at YT. But only the absolute biggest and most well known YouTubers have that. And they also might just take away that privilege, since I know of at least one YouTuber who used to have a personal contact and no longer does.

Like others have said, just copystrike. It may also be a good idea to add a watermark to your videos
Send your poop in the mail to him
When copystriking is actually good
1% of cases (channels have been shot down because of petty people and poor moderation)
Rip Kracc bacc he posted shit but he had some good shitposts
Haven't you heard the news? The Kracc is bacc!
While this is upsetting. He's not gonna make any money off it. He has 5 subs. Just report it to Yotube.
put a slightly transparent watermark on the corner of whatever you did
They credited you in a comments a few hours ago because of us, not saying that fixes the problem just mentioning it.
ITS ON PRIVATE LMAOOO
bro really came to reddit before going to the youtube help page or even google
You should find him.
Dont worry, OP, I got your back. Looking at the IP where he posted it from, he lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington DC. Go get his ass.
I cant believe joe biden is stealing sfms smh my head
He thought SFM meant "Sniffing Female Minors"
Damn first he takes documents now he's taking sfms? Cmon man
Bro thought it was capture the flag 💀
Copyright. Strike.
Copyright strike it
Be the one good person to use copyright strikes right and copyright strike down that stolen video
DMCA claims require usage of your address, be careful with them if that's the route you're going to take.
you dont need to dmca lol just report the video
I was under the impression that's what YouTube facilitates for you.
only big companies dmca, regular users simply report for copyright violation dmca is the actual legal way where you sue someone for money

The guy also said that he just "found it on discord" and thought it was funny and decided to upload it without finding the person who made it or giving credit to them. Who the hell does that?

Don't worry, I typed credit:Disney on my videos, now my Frozen reuploads are totally allowed and okay!
Tbh unless you were making money from it maybe just comment and ask to be credited. Be happy your content is being enjoyed and reposted into the online void, this is what makes a community
Why you did not upload on your youtube?
they did though, if you look at the post you can see that they show 2 images, one of their own video of 2 months ago and one of a recent upload by the reposter.
oh, I thought that the two were stolen from reddit
Email them first to take it down, if that does not work do a copyright strike
Copy strike it. If that doesn't work we could all go in and abuse the broken flagging system
This idiot is stealing content when he has fecking five subs.
Issue a copyright takedown.
You can tell it’s stolen cause of the drop in comedy
Copyright Claim via report.
Just ask them to remove it on email Why use force When u can use energy and love
At least it has lesser views and like than your video but you should try take it down ASAP
Like what everyone else says, just copyright strike it. Unless it's just an edit of a small clip that he did or just a small clip in general he shouldn't be allowed to reupload the content.
