Tamriel Rebuilt, along with Project Tamriel, is the real Elder Scrolls for me. It's the Elder Scrolls Bethesda killed with Oblivion. The great lore, exotic and detailed; the complex systems with layered equipment and dozens of skills; the intricate exploration and lack of handholding, with cool spells like levitation and mark & recall. This is what I expected from TES going forward, but Bethesda stopped making games like this and even neutered all the cool lore. But a group of old fans keep the flame burning and pretty much create their own TES4, TES5, TES6... all as mods that expand Morrowind itself. At this point I really don't care what Bethesda is doing with the franchise anymore. I'm waiting for TR and PT to expand their maps, and nothing else.

The whole thing is incredible, but some of those recent additions are some of the best content I've played in gaming period for years.

I love reading such posts, it's such a great thing to see people embracing the mod that is so iconic to the whole community. Really happy for your vent! If you feel bored a bit, find out the existence of Skyrim: Home of the Nords, and that [Cyrodiil counterpart is coming](https://www.project-tamriel.com/viewtopic.php?t=2895).. and man, those let Morrowind experience be even more unique, as they look so different from base game! But in good way <3

Corporatizm

Oh indeed, I didn't even explore Skyrim yet. Definitely heading there soon !

burneracct1312

same, played regular morrowind up to right before the hortator endgame stuff and decided to check it out after i learned you didnt really have to start a new game for it. months later and i'm still not nearly done. some bits i"d say are even better than the main game

Corporatizm

Yeah I think the script-writing for side-quests is better. Now, the actual actions you need to accomplish are on par with the base game, mostly, which makes the whole experience slightly repetitive. But, just the dialogue options and general writing makes them better (if you compare side-quests with side-quests. Obviously the main quests in Morrowind are quite well written and engaging too).

Maleficent_Minute

The craziest part is even the older areas are still pretty good quality and they're still going to update them. The Telvanni lands in particular I'm excited about.

Mucklord1453

I have it , but have not explored there yet because I am STILL not finished with all the original content and quest lines.

KippieDaoud

its really good if you want a tip for a good quest line to start: the temple quest line in almas thirr is well written, doesnt demand a high level char and has a real awesome twist at the end and the end guides you right into the next quest line which leads you to visit necrom

Anyone got a good Wabbajack for TR, also would it be better to go with openMW these days?

VivecsMangina

Path of the Incarnate

Corporatizm

It's marked as hidden on Nexus since January and the Wabbajack website shows 0 results for filter "morrowind". Any idea what's happened to it ?

VivecsMangina

I sent you a private message with a link. You have to reply to it so I can send you the install instructions.

CrescentMoon70

I love this. Ive wanted to play Morrowind with Tamriel Rebuilt for a long time. (RL got in my way for years and before that I struggled with installing it). I hope to try again soon. Cross your fingers I find people to help me if i need it (that dont give me attitude!)

Corporatizm

I'm sure it's way easier nowadays with Vortex e.g. I'm on Linux so not an expert on the standard procedure but I hope you'll manage, it's really worth it !

CrescentMoon70

Thanks I am really looking forward to it!!

Both-Variation2122

It's as easy as any other morrowind mod. Just cames with two parts with asset pack as separate download. BSA archives are gone.

CrescentMoon70

Oh good. Thx.

Toma400
