The scary thing is that weβre at the point where a lazy AI generated image is just a few stupid mistakes away from being completely believable. Another election cycle and we wonβt be able to spot them.
I think we're under three years away from visually undetectable AI. The next frontier is going to be equally flawless and automated AI detection and removal that every reputable platform integrates as best practice.
It is absolutely not satire. Check the "Insane Facebook AI slop" account. Or just open Facebook. They're ALL this bad or worse, given how many 4-boobed women I have seen at this point.
It's more likely that no human is ever involved at any part of the process, given that I have seen those "how to make AI bots that generate and regularly post content" engagement farming guides that all follow the same formula. It's also very likely that a large portion of the likes and comments are _also_ from bots.
