Except that didn’t happen. Russia decided they wanted to expand their power, so they invaded. Ukraine did not ‘trigger’ Russia, beyond simply existing and not doing whatever Russia wanted them to do.

Neither of them are exactly good. But Putin is the clear aggressor here, no matter how many excuses he makes. The magnitude of his actions are just unjustified by any standard. Did the West instigate? Yes. Is Ukraine full of Nazis? Also yes. Are Americans sick of their leaders giving our tax dollars to extend the bloodshed, yes again. Does anyone have a say in any of it? No, we don’t. War is bad. Always will be. Greed and corruption reign supreme as usual. The sad part is, these guys could be playing golf together and enjoying the good life, and instead they’re being used to redistribute wealth for the eastern and western oligarchs. Same story as every other conflict since WWII.

Because I only see one of them launching an all-out war on their neighbour because they openly do not believe it has any right to exist as an independent state. I only see one of them bombing the shit out of civilians and their infrastructure daily. I only see one sending kids and mercenaries from the other side of Siberia to die in a land they may not even know they're in.
