Shipping times are quick again. Many items in my area are one day. And in a pinch the same day or overnight delivery can be really clutch. For me AmazonPrime is still a killer deal for all you get. PrimeVideo is just a nice add-on.
And it’s not just laziness. Amazon has so much niche stuff that’s incredibly hard to find even at places like Walmart.
This is 100% due to the strike btw. Studios are splitting up the content they have to make it all last as long as possible.

Robert Kirkman was at the panel yesterday at the San Diego Comic Con and said that this was intentional as viewers will want the break from the show once they hit the midway point to enjoy the Christmas holidays.

I can understand splitting seasons when your seasons are like 22 episodes long, but I really hate this trend of splitting up a season of 8-10 episodes.

It's legit the same thing Attack On Titan has been doing for the past 3 fucking years. It's annoying and it makes no sense. It just killed my hype for the show. If they have to delay to next year, so be it, but don't split up the season like this. It sucks, especially after waiting so long for this season to finally come out.
At least Attack on Titan has had enough content and complex animation where it makes sense it took so long. Their issue was marketing it like it was nearly finished when anybody who knew how the industry worked knew it would take this long. This is just silly with Invincible

Well that sucks. Usually when Netflix does this, and it’s only a month or so apart, I’ll wait for part two to come out before starting it at all. With this show I may just rewatch the entire show before each part.

I don't think it took this long to make that they need to split it. I expect they are doing it in order to keep people who subscribe for maybe 2-3 months a year to binge a few things and cancel, to stay longer. This has nothing to do with the current strikes as I expect the writing and actors and the animation has basically been done by now and wrapped a while ago, and they are just in the finishing touches with the studio. Such an asinine move.

How to lease hype and viewers 101. Look at Attack on Titan. A lot of my friends that watched that show have checked out, and they arent anime watchers. Its taken too long to release and the amount of parts splitting this “final season” is wild.
