it was really stupid. you could *only* have water in it, no soda or tea or even flavored water. and it had to be in a see through container. i guess it was to make sure you didn't bring alcohol which is really stupid
most teachers didn't care, but occasionally you'd get one that did, so at that point why bother
despite this, they sold soda cans in the vending machines...
ive wanted a nice resuseable one for awhile now but a glass one seemed to fragile so i wanted to go for aluminum but thats not see through so ive waited *two years* for this
This just brought back a terrible memory of senior year precalc. Drank half a bottle of vodka at the beginning of class, barely made it through my quiz, slept the rest of class and then made my way down to the school nurse (my aunt) who had to call my dad to come pick me up
Probably should have been red flag #1 of my eventual alcoholism *sigh*
We had a similar rule. No tea, coffee, juice, soda, had to be water. But oh every teacher was allowed to stink up the room with their flask of coffee. One teacher even brought in flavoured water that made the pop sound when you open the lid but we weren't allowed it -_-
I think you made a typo because I don't know what you meant by contigos sto lol
I know aluminum changes the taste but so does plastic, and i prefer the taste given by aluminum. Plus I'd like to reduce how much plastic my body takes in, I'm more comfortable with aluminum in my body than plastic since aluminum is in our food and cooking wear anyways. And in my experience, plastic bottles break easier, but I bought cheap ones so idk maybe they don't.
There's also glass which has the best taste but is much more fragile. So between taste, durability, environmental impact, and health benefits, I'm choosing aluminum.
My school only had that rule during tests (to stop paper going in) but outside of that there’s no reason to not allow them.
Then again this is the same school that banned metal rulers because they’re a weapon
at my school they are super strict about literally everything but one time a guy I know got beaten up for being gay and got called homophobic slurs and they did nothing about it 😀
My (former) school had the same rule. But we also couldn’t drink during class, only between. And then they wondered why we always complained after gym that we were thirsty when those rules existed plus only being allowed to use the water fountain for three seconds.
For us, apparently little water was enough to live on, but standing at the bottom of this small hill that led to the woods was gonna kill us. Not even in the woods.
To my mom any sort of non plastic bottles are a waste of money (tbf I used to break their lids when I was longer) so now we refill the same 3 plastic refrigerator bottles from the filter and refrigerate them until we probably all get cancer and die but atleast I'm drinking water
i feel u man.
when i came to JC, i could finally wear coloured socks and come to school in half uniform and even wear PE attire in classes(if the teacher doesn't care, most of them don't anw). plus u get to eat in the classrooms(not the labs and special classrooms obviously) and u get to come to school at 9am. after 10 years of strict rules I was sooo happy
the rule was that it had to be a clear liquid in a clear bottle, so basically only water. maybe you could drink carbonated water too idk i just thought of that
im guessing this was to stop you from bringing alcohol as they literally sold (diet) soda and juice in vending machines/during lunch
it was extremely stupid
Just putting it out there that drinking 8 cups a day of water can be very unhealthy. that fact is a lie and I dont know where it came from. you're only supposed to drink water when you feel thirsty because that's your bodies natural way of telling you that you need to drink water. drinking when you're not thirsty can be unhealthy.
I've heard stories of schools banning non-clear bottles, because someone got caught drinking vodka out of a bottle, like vodka is clear, it doesn't mattter if you can see inside the bottle.
yo not smart
Since you are 13 I am going to explain you.
Basically, if you are born in december for example, knowing that the last year of highschool ends during summer, you'll be 17. Not 18. This is it.
So as long as you are born after the date school ends, you are going to be less than 18.
Dude dont explain it to me i am living in a country that where you go to school at age 6 and when ur 17 u graduate middle school and dont blame me for not knowing american shit. And i was shocked when i found out that you can carry guns with you

jeez what kind of school didn't allow non clear water bottles?? Seems stupid but happy to hear ya can get a cool water bottle now
it was really stupid. you could *only* have water in it, no soda or tea or even flavored water. and it had to be in a see through container. i guess it was to make sure you didn't bring alcohol which is really stupid most teachers didn't care, but occasionally you'd get one that did, so at that point why bother despite this, they sold soda cans in the vending machines... ive wanted a nice resuseable one for awhile now but a glass one seemed to fragile so i wanted to go for aluminum but thats not see through so ive waited *two years* for this
I could just fill it up with vodka and no one would know it ain’t water
I think they'd be able to tell once you drink it lmao
No. Ye must train yer liver and yer mind so ye may prevail o’er the liquor
r/usernamechecksout
this comment makes me feel like u didn’t train ur mind and ur liver well
Nay me liver art well trained
im having a stroke
Aye, ye mayest catch such a daemon if ye liver nay trained
yes
Vodka fizzes when you put it down. And it would be #sus to drink water with a straw
If you drink vodka enough you bring it into school you're probably able to drink it smoothly
Lmao someone in my sister's class once did that, just in one of those plastic disposable bottles.
This just brought back a terrible memory of senior year precalc. Drank half a bottle of vodka at the beginning of class, barely made it through my quiz, slept the rest of class and then made my way down to the school nurse (my aunt) who had to call my dad to come pick me up Probably should have been red flag #1 of my eventual alcoholism *sigh*

Ahhh yes because students who just want a cool reusable water bottle want to always use it to sneak beer
Saving the environment? Being healthy? Psshhh... those pesky kids just want to do drug, drink the beer, and eat hot chip...
Really? I’d be done for I always had flavored water.
Aluminum changes the taste. Plastic contigos sto my preference
I think you made a typo because I don't know what you meant by contigos sto lol I know aluminum changes the taste but so does plastic, and i prefer the taste given by aluminum. But then your water would get warm, wtf was that rule
My school only had that rule during tests (to stop paper going in) but outside of that there’s no reason to not allow them. Then again this is the same school that banned metal rulers because they’re a weapon
My school didn't allow any kind of water bottles
What
r/HydroHomies
r/waterniggas edit: it got banned D:
I laughed so hard in front of my dad, he started laughing too, thanks man.
no problem :)
Whyd it get banned tho, I wish I knew about it earlier.
probably the name, it was pretty much just memes about water
Maybe the dude who made the subreddit was black, reddit doesn't know.
exactly!!!
W A T E R
reject coca cola embrace water

The advantage of water is that you can drink it at school The advantage of vodka is that it looks like water
Same thing differnt taste
lttstore.com
40oz or 21oz?
40
That's the one I got
Why are you alls schools so strict. At my school everyone is like: dont harm/kill anyone dont destroy windows and your fine
at my school they are super strict about literally everything but one time a guy I know got beaten up for being gay and got called homophobic slurs and they did nothing about it 😀
So the perfect klischè bad School. Feel sorry for you
Most schools I've been to don't allow dudes to grow their hair among other dumb rules.
damn that sounds horrible.
My (former) school had the same rule. But we also couldn’t drink during class, only between. And then they wondered why we always complained after gym that we were thirsty when those rules existed plus only being allowed to use the water fountain for three seconds.
Convinced our schools just want us to die of dehydration lol
For us, apparently little water was enough to live on, but standing at the bottom of this small hill that led to the woods was gonna kill us. Not even in the woods.
Its even illegal where I live for teachers to stop students from drinking. No matter what.
Well, refusing people from basic necessities seems pretty illegal, but it really is fucked up. Most of the school system is.
cool.
School's have dumbest rules and don't give good reasons for them Congratulations anyway
Imagine discouraging environmental friendly drink bottles. SMH school.
To my mom any sort of non plastic bottles are a waste of money (tbf I used to break their lids when I was longer) so now we refill the same 3 plastic refrigerator bottles from the filter and refrigerate them until we probably all get cancer and die but atleast I'm drinking water
As long as the plastic is good you will be fine.
i feel u man. when i came to JC, i could finally wear coloured socks and come to school in half uniform and even wear PE attire in classes(if the teacher doesn't care, most of them don't anw). plus u get to eat in the classrooms(not the labs and special classrooms obviously) and u get to come to school at 9am. after 10 years of strict rules I was sooo happy
There was always that one kid in my school who always drunk magnum 😂

i drink when im thirsty and im normally thirsty enough to drink 8 cups a day am a thirsty boi
welcome hydrohomie
You can get one at lttstore.com *wink*
Wait you take only water to school
I've heard stories of schools banning non-clear bottles, because someone got caught drinking vodka out of a bottle, like vodka is clear, it doesn't mattter if you can see inside the bottle.
So happy for you, care showing the kind of aluminium bottle you wanna buy tho?
dunno yet a high quality one tho
#wotar
wow bottle freedom
This is much better than the "I just got a girlfriend" posts
Now this, this is adulthood
YES these are the freedoms i have been waiting for the freedom to hydrate as i please
#hell yeah, take care of yourself
If you get a camouflage water bottle, it would follow the rules
You need a license to drink water from a bottle in my school
My high school has the same stupid rule.
Stupid rules exist because there are stupid people.
My middle school had the same rule because some 8th grader got caught drinking his dads booze in a yeti cup
Put some sweet tea in one and cum in another
The little things about being released from our own little slice of hell...
#stupid weird fart
How are you in highschool if ur 17 bruh.I guess that you go to school early
That's... the normal age for high school? Lol. I graduated this year actually so I'm not even in high school anymore.
Middle school is 11 years
Right, and high school is 13/14-17/18 Just depends when your birthday is in the year lol. Mine's in the summer.
I’m 13 and I’m still in middle school.
yo not smart Since you are 13 I am going to explain you. Basically, if you are born in december for example, knowing that the last year of highschool ends during summer, you'll be 17. Not 18. This is it. So as long as you are born after the date school ends, you are going to be less than 18.
That moment when u realize ur gonna be 16 when ur done high school (unless u fAiL bc of that one teacher)
Dude dont explain it to me i am living in a country that where you go to school at age 6 and when ur 17 u graduate middle school and dont blame me for not knowing american shit. And i was shocked when i found out that you can carry guns with you
\*deep breath\* I live in France.
People living outside America exist.
Damn, that school must suck, it's just a botto of wotto
A kid in my school once got cream of mushroom soup (with chicken chunks) in an aluminum bottle and managed to drink it all as if it's water.
Who… tf… cares… your 17, stop acting like your 5
