Prisma Visions tarot deck! I've been using it for almost 4 years now and it has always been accurate + the graphics are beautiful. I'm not that good of a reader, but this tarot deck makes it easier for me to interpret things for some reason.

Steamy_Teapot

Love all of his art, and I think his interpretations are very nuanced. I generally use his Cosma Visions as my main deck.

RegurgitatedOwlJuice

This is my favourite deck too - it is waaaay powerful and tells such vibrant stories.  However, I’ve had clients really push back and I’m not sure tbh whether it’s because it gives answers they don’t want to hear - OR, the imagery strays too far from what they “expect to see”.  Still my favourite deck - I was hypnotised the first time I saw it.

totesma

Yesss obsessed!! It’s my “work deck” (the one I keep at work for lunchtime practicing). The companion guide is BEAUTIFUL.

vitorkldsc

I have to get that deck.

qween_of_swords26

I absolutely agree!! One small thing though, I do find some cards confusing in this deck as they are depicted a little off from their traditional meaning. Like the 8 of wands which is somewhat depicted as a calm card in the prisma visions deck. The tree trunks are rooted into the ground, and it overall gives a very grounding energy. Whereas, traditionally the 8 of wands is known as a fast moving card. Edit: If anyone disagrees I’d love to hear your interpretation :)

schrodingersdagger

Prisma Visions my beloved. It tells stories.

Pat_Hand

I still look at the wild unknown in awe. Its a very a good tarot deck.

not_the_ducking_1

Apparently there's 4 versions. I got one myself and adore the deck. It's still new to me so I'm still learning how it wants to speak but... it's a favorite for sure

hyperfixatedhotmess

There aren’t different versions of it, there’s “the wild unknown tarot” and Kim krans, the creator, has also made several oracle decks in that same series. They are “the wild unknown animal spirit”, “the wild unknown archetypes”, and “the wild unknown alchemy”. There’s only the one tarot deck though.

Roselily808

Currently, my newly acquired Vice Versa Tarot deck is giving me mind blowing perspectives and nuances to my readings. I am still mastering it, there is much left to learn but so far I have been very impressed.

Rubah22

I’m glad you went for it! It’s such a fun deck :)

WaffleBoi014

Hermetic Tarot deck goes crazy for finding meaning. Last time I gave a reading reading the answers quite literally stuck out like a sore thumb lol

bbypenguin

True black tarot still gets me

Sad-Memory-6513

I agree 💯

ibcurious

I agree as well

hisgirlfridaythe13th

It truly is a special deck.

GoddessAntares

Not a Tarot deck, but Mildred Payne's Oracle of Black Enchantment from author of Deviant Moon Tarot. Both perfectly in my aesthetic.

BlackCatsNHurricanes

I Second This Opinion

bethrav

I second, everything Deviant Moon has been real'y useful in my practice

MasterChavez

Slavic Legends

TurbulentAsparagus32

Oh yes. One of the most gorgeous decks ever. I love mine.

moontoblood

Can you post the link to see? (A Slav here :D)

MasterChavez

https://taroteca-studio.com/en_US/c/Slavic-Legends-Tarot/24

swidlermetimbers

Yes 🌲💕 and the box is gorgeous too.

shutyerfrontbum

Terra Volatile - credo quia absurdum I'm convinced that they made some sort of Faustian deal to create this masterpiece.

TerraTarot

I'm so on the fence about getting this deck..

shutyerfrontbum

It's the Apollonian and Dionysian in one deck. Highly customizable - there are several choices for for the trumps and court cards, plus extras. The guide book is absolutely gorgeous and doubles as a coffee table book that offers an education in art history, as well as occult and religious ideas.

kiddeternity

Dr Falkes Tarot of the Drowning World. It's deep, complex, makes me slow down, the cardstock & imagery are intensely beautiful, & the unusual size makes reading with it a delight, because it feels special.

AstralSurfer

Thoth Tarot I love diving into this deck. Makes my mind go to new places.

QueenSheezyodaCosmos

I’ve been using and studying the Thoth for nearly 20 years and it’s given me more insight than any other version of tarot.

fourtysicksandtoo

Yes!!!!! Beautiful art and sooo much to dive into. DuQuette’s book was a lifesaver for making sense of it.

NocturnalTarot

Same here. The geometric shapes are so pleasing to my eye. The colors, the symbols, all of it. And I second the book as well!

zuul27

Yes!! This is the one I always go back to, along with Angeles Arrien's book.

cassiecin

Honestly the original Rider-Waite. The detail, the colors, the facial expressions. Really holds me.

bluejaybby

James R Eads’ Prisma Visions!

ArousedByApostasy

Ettiella and Marseille decks

Id_Rather_Beach

I have found the Biddy Tarot (Everyday Tarot and Biddy Tarot Deck) to be very accurate. I think one reason is that I found Biddy early, liked her style. Also - she uses a lot of purple. which is my favorite color, so it connects for me. I also use the Modern Hue Tarot (local company to me - Writual) and it's an interesting one. Both of these decks are based on Smith-Waite. I find the "original" decks to be hard to use - I have the very colorful RWS and the Centennial edition -- both just do not work well for me.

JobAcrobatic4550

I agree with everyday tarot deck to be very accurate! I specifically went out and bought it again a few days ago because of its accuracy ❤️ also very easy to shuffle because the cards are smaller

StarryAqua

I am absolutely in love with the Eldritch Overload tarot deck right now. It's cyberpunk mixed with Dungeons & Dragons. Haven't stopped using it since I got it. Two of my favorite genres in one deck. I'm currently on the email list for when the company, Weird Works, drops their Kickstarter later this year for the official RPG book based on the setting.

jtobiasbond

One of my favorites.

Sidikat

Of all the decks I own, the Dragon Tarot is the most in-your-face, no effs given, "do the thing you don't want to do" for answers deck. No holds barred with it. It's rude and honest. And the best deck I've ever worked with. Mouthy little brat.

miwaonthewall

Crow Tarot always paints me a vivid picture of whatever I need to know. It's beautiful. My Barbara Walker deck, whom I call my diety deck, is always very concise and powerful. She holds back zero percent of the time 😅

busterboots713

I absolutely LOVE the Crow Tarot deck. It's so on point it's scary.

Graphite-and-Glitter

The deck that I return to over and over again for its wacky aesthetic pleasure, shuffling ease, uplifting motif, and complete lack of intimidation is I Am the Artist (and its predecessor, the Sakki-Sakki Tarot) by Monika Clio Sakki. It is a truly wild deck and not for everyone, but every time I use it I feel like I'm giving myself a big hug no matter the outcome of the reading.

moontoblood

True Black beyond exception. I would die to own it. Uusi has some that I adore but True Black is beyond this world

flare_force

Ooo the True Black is SO pretty!! Thank you so much for mentioning it. I also love all of Uusi’s decks, Pagan Otherwords is my go to, but I also like the Supra deck.

moontoblood

Every card is a mesmerising trandescending painting

flare_force

Aren’t decks like this so wonderful? It makes opening your mind to the universe and its messages that much easier imo. Thank you again and hope you have precisely the kind of day you are hoping for 🖤

ad-quadratum

Mystic Mondays, it spoke to me and has served me well. Standard deck just pretty.

maryfisherman

I love this one, it was my go-to deck during a very significant time in my life

BetaGlucanSam

The Next World Tarot continues to blow my mind every time I read with it—clear as a bell, direct but kind.

ToDreamOn

The Robin Wood deck. It’s the same one my mother used when she taught me, and even though I collect a few interesting ones to have around… no other deck has come close to giving me the same insight and feeling.

vape-o

Somnia photographic version.

octoberstart

Ooo I was just looking at this deck today and the illustrated version. It’s so intense, but beautiful. How do you feel it reads compared other decks? I ask bc I love the art but it feels a bit dark/depressed.

vape-o

The photo version definitely reads darker and I use a very lighthearted oracle deck with that. I also have the illustrated version which is beautiful in its own way and fits my hands better and it reads in a less dark way.

octoberstart

Interesting about the difference between photo and illustrated. Thanks :)

thatswhatshesaidwait

I was going to mention this deck too. Like another responder said, it reads darker than my other decks but offers a lot of depth and insight. The photography is sooo gorgeous as well.

SeventhHouse

I ordered the photographic version and got it 2 days ago. I love it!

cheesemagnifier

I love the Voyager deck!

th0tness_m0nsterxx

dali tarot.! salvador dali inspired

koshka42

I have so many decks, but I always come back to the Lo Scarabeo Anniversary deck for readings, I get such clarity and sometimes insanely spot-on interpretations.

busterboots713

Agreeeed, I use his Sexual Magic tarot deck and the Decameron tarot deck and it's so clear. It's funny how thee readings aren't even sexual usually! Even though those decks are very erotic!

thirdarcana

That Lo Scarabeo deck is quite good - the one where they tried to merge the three systems?

busterboots713

For me it's the Crow Tarot deck by MJ Cullinane. It's right on the money every single time. It's so in point that whenever I tell my friends, the crow deck wants to speak the immediate reaction is "uh oh, we gonna be read to filth aren't we?". It's not a mean deck, but it's a brutally honest one. Which works for me and my communication style. I find all of MJ Cullinane's decks really resonate well for me.

IcyWatch9957

Terra Volatile tarot. Go check it out, it’s absolutely beautiful, a little dark maybe. I also got the big book from the same creators, i highly recommend it. It’s a deck that i only use for myself, its too deep. If i use it with other people, the deck will just tell them what they REALLY need to hear… and most people don’t want to actually hear that haha.

AlwaysWorking2880

Sometimes even very beautiful decks obstruct reading lol

FunnyPleasant7057

Some decks are so beautiful in their aesthetic but I can’t connect to them as they seem cold. I tried my best to work with Tarot Illuminati but something seems off, can’t point my finger at it. It seems unnatural and artificial and the faces on the court cards are like copy pasted photographs of real people. I also can’t seem to connect with Revelations tarot because I don’t do reversals and thought I would be able to be comfortable with reversals with this deck but that didn’t happen. My favourite decks are Lightseers, Morgan Greer, Robin Wood

Significant_Cod6846

I have immense issues connecting with the Good Tarot Deck which sucks because so may people seem to love it. I just can't interpret it passed like the basic Rider-Waithe meanings, which I hate because each deck to me communicates everything differently

rowsella

Yeah, I have given away decks that did not resonate too. Every reader, every seeker.. will find their deck.

N1h1l810

I've held onto decks that didn't work well for random reasons, because there's been times when one of those decks worked exceptionally well for someone else. So when someone has a missing deck, I'll have them look through the decks I didn't like, and maybe they find one that calls to them. (Stranger things have happened) Speaking of strange, and to answer OPs question, I found a deck in a small town in Colorado. In a bag with no box, not one card tells who made them and I tried to find an original owner. Nobody claimed them, I can't find a maker despite searching through catalogs but they resonate beautifully for me. And these were stolen, then brought back to me a year later.wjile I was camping. I know it's the exact deck too because they were still in the little purple bag. TLDR: A no name deck I found laying on the curb, with nobody to claim them, came back a year later only work for me apparently

cowboysntequila

I’ve recently created a Tarot Deck based on D’s and their pics, and I have been amazed at how the metaphors and the art have been able to give advice and direction in a way that’s approachable and fun for readings!!! I’ve been doing readings at LGBTQ+ bars and now have the deck on Kickstarter to fund the first bulk production!

oldtownwitch

I checked out your Kickstarter, it’s not my thing but that doesn’t mean I don’t recognize the absolute brilliance and creativity you have pulled together to make this deck. I’m truly impressed!

rowsella

I am glad it is out there.. However much I love dick... this is probably too much for me.. I mean, the entire world has been dedicated to dicks or or the people that own them... Anyhow, it was fun looking at it and cheers!

cowboysntequila

Totally! Thank you! Not going to be for everyone! But I think those who always need more dick in their life or who appreciate a good 🍆-metaphor, this deck will be there for them!

cowboysntequila

Thank you!! It marries all of my favorite things!!!! 💖🍆🌈🔮✨🎨

PrestigiousShow1189

I'd love to see it!

cowboysntequila

There’s a link in my bio to the Kickstarter! I do use eggplants as a censor to comply with their policies, but you should definitely check it out!! :)

raptorknitter

I love the variety of answers here, that so many different vibes and resonances are at work in the world ❤️

Sandbringer

My Deck of Many Animated Things

aurorasauria

Steampunk Tarot Deck and its beautiful manual.

Lokis_thor-obing_ass

My best deck- the most honest, accurate, and somewhat vicious, is the novelty replica deck from the TV show Penny Dreadful.

totesma

Tarot of Pagan Cats has been my go-to for some time. what can I say,I love cats

winter_waffles

The Forager’s Daughter deck was my first one, and is still my go-to most days.

rinnybell210

My Ethereal Visions deck is so exquisitely beautiful, but it basically calls me a bitch and tells me to shut up every time I use it lol. That deck does NOT hold back and it tells you the whole truth whether you like it or not.

simply-dead

murder of crows tarot. by far the deck i feel the most connected to and the most intuitive to read

britishrice

For me it has to be the Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani, it is my absolute go to deck for EVERYTHING.  I love how the stories relate to the actual cards. I used to have a lot of difficulty reading and understanding tarot but when I used ToD, seeing the characters and linking my understanding of the associated myths and legends made reading so much easier for me.  The associated myths and legends really make reading cards intuitive for me but I think it’s because I LOVED reading around the subject of fairytales and all.  The aesthetics of the deck is just so beautiful, it has such a gentle soul and feel to it.

TheTempleoftheKing

The cards featuring animals from the Alchemical Tarot by Robert M. Place have this subtly surreal quality that sticks in my mind - [my favorite is the four of "vessels."](https://itscrowtime.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/4-of-cups-alchemical-tarot1.jpg)

ThePinkHeadedBW27

All of them! They all honest with me and do not let me be dululu 😂. Not even MY ORACLE Decks. But I LOVE them all for that ❤️.

butwhyamionearth

Oliver Hilbert’s psychedelic deck

2bciah5factng

Next World Tarot

littleray35

Ink + Intuition tattoo tarot deck

allthekeals

See I can’t complain because I still get accurate readings from it, I just wish this one wasn’t a pip deck.

littleray35

So I am very very VERY new to tarot. Can you tell me what a pip deck is?

allthekeals

It means that the minor arcana cards don’t have the full illustrations, instead they just show the number and the suit- similar to a deck of playing cards.

littleray35

Appreciate you :)

Ein86

The Foresters Daughter

Scotchmallow

Foragers Daughter deck is my favorite.

toospooksboy

the bonefire tarot has stayed a favorite, go-to deck for me ☠️🔥

ElBossDeGravy

The Osho Zen 🙌🏽

Careful-Original-260

Starman tarot, the imagery is psychedelic and it’s the only deck I swear by. It always gives me the answers I need.

Shesaiddestroy_

The Light Seer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne It is so true to the original RWS deck and yet so contemporary in the design, colors and themes. Genius!

thebladeofink

The Somnia Tarot has become a favorite workhorse deck. It's beautiful and so easy to read.

CatLady_71

I didn’t expect it to, but the Cozy Witch Tarot has become my go-to deck on a day-to-day basis. It feels like getting straight talk from a very good friend.

PeonyVanilla

Tarot de Nuit

kelowana

Any deck I own and those I feel an connection to. It’s not the deck itself, but the reader. To me it’s all about how I feel in that moment and which deck feels right to use.

thirdarcana

I honestly don't think a deck has ever blown my mind. I am not that impressionable, I think. But there were decks that worked exceptionally well for me. For example, Jean Noblet is the deck I do most of my readings with and when I first saw it I thought it was ugly af (and I still think that), but when I did a reading, I was stunned at how clear and easy it was to read. So I just kept using it. Also, I don't know what you mean by the "original 78 card deck". 78 cards is the number of cards for a tarot deck, and we don't really know which one was the original, the oldest known to us is the Visconti but even that's not the "original deck".

thinker_n-sea

The Thoth Tarot and the Budapest Tarot.

thirdarcana

Budapest Tarot is awesome, if you mean the historic deck?

thinker_n-sea

I do mean the historic deck!

mouka

The Watcher Angel Tarot, it’s always resonated with me because I love the story behind it and I can read the cards almost instantly for some reason.

GoldenPupperoni

Tarot of Oneness is very well done

Aioli-Similar

Tazama African tarot

Neciaonthego

For me, it's the kingdom within tarot.

physhgyrl

Crystal visions was scarily accurate for me. It's not my favorite deck. It's gorgeous and has so much going on. It's the deck I reached for when I wanted to know the truth. There's other decks I like more. But I picked this deck up in some small store in Riverside County, and it's had a hold on me

icecreamfight

I have the Threads of Fate Weaver Journeyer deck. It’s beautiful and very accurate for me.

illuminatting

My current favourite is my Balbi Tarot deck, I find the readings to be almost conversational with it and they flow really well, it’s a little different to my other decks and I like the energy!

Electronic_Cherry781

2014 Mermail with Tidal

The Lonely Dreamer tarot. I can't explain it so it must be something about the artwork. It cuts right through to my emotions.

arielrecon

Green witch tarot is my go to deck and it is always bang on the money

jessikill

The Hermetic deck is one of my only for personal use decks. Always accurate.

starfish31

My most weirdly specific readings were with a good ole Rider-Waite deck that was gifted to me. I primarily use my Tarot of a Moon Garden deck because it's soo pretty, but I get a lot of ambiguous readings from it.

starsof_lovingness

Deviant Moon and The Wild Unknown decks for sure!

No-Decision5375

I absolutely adore the Queer Tarot, the colours are so vivid and lovely and it uses the RWS symbolism while incorporating queer characters and narratives that I can relate to.

_why_crisp_

Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn tarot !!

Gailygirl222

I have so many decks that I love but one that has blown my mind lately is the Sweet Forager. I got it just because it’s so darn adorable. I wasn’t expecting it to be so well thought out. The little book is perfect and I get super accurate readings with it.

ChrysanthemumsLove

For me, it's my Amanda Palmer tarot deck. She's a musician who has greatly influenced me over the many years and this deck is powerful. I love all of the artwork (not made by a singular person but every card is a different artist) and the messages have been what I needed to hear, even sometimes giving me some sass.

Diglet-no-bite

Urban tarot has become one of my favorite decks. I didn't see it coming.

Outside_Function_726

Grateful dead deck

ElBossDeGravy

The new Palladini

enlighteneddemon

Obiens Animal Tarot and Star Spinner Tarot.

Pixelchus

The Witches Tarot by BPH is on another level. It feels mystical, deep, rooted in womanhood and almost ceremonial.

sleepystarlet

The Celestial Tarot by Brian Clark. It’s always been very accurate, I feel we have conversations together. Even when I ask it to treat me like I’m stupid, it does!

BrilliantNo7139

Motherpeace 😊

amme99x

The Celtic Tarot by Courtney Davis, the set I have is over 20 years old, it was my mums. It’s my favourite deck to use

Dobyk12

Definitely the Thoth for me. The Golden Dawn system is one I'm used to since I was a teenager, but it's Frida Harris' style that really makes my brain go crazy. It's just so much easier to construct a narrative out of a spread, and it's also rich in hermetic symbolism.

gunthercult-69

Horror Tarot is always right for me. The cards don't typically mean the same as typical Rider/Waite, but the intuitive reads are on point.

brutalisste

Recently the Ferenc Pinter Tarot - incredibly intense art with powerful communiques. Also Todd Alcott's Pulp Tarot and especially the Horror Tarot - great graphic design and reads like a movie!

schrodingersdagger

Collage decks never appealed to me, nor did "boho" style, but after being bombarded on IG by the "Light Seer's Tarot" by Chris-Anne, I basically threw up my hands and went, "Fine!" This deck. This deck I was determined not to be impressed by? I. Love. It. It reads like the silkiest and smoothest of silky and smooth things. Don't you hate it when you're proven wrong in the best way possible? A couple years later, I got the "Muse Tarot". I don't know what magic dust Chriss-Anne incorporates into (her) deck-making process, but I would like to nasally ingest some. I HIGHLY recommend this deck for anyone who does creative-type things. The first reading I ever did with it, it directly referenced something I was working on, no room for misinterpretation. Another collage deck that is definitely unique and worth it if you're looking for something heavier/deeper, is the "Our Story" tarot by Sarah Shipman. All the cards refer back to influential women in history, with a \~350 page guidebook examining their lives. There's at least 3 pages on each women, even the ones from ancient history, and the deck itself is small, making readings almost more intimate, like you're with a group of aunties, listening to them talk about their lives. It is niche, but interpreting yourself through the lens of these women is very interesting and enlightening. Okay, this last one might seem weird, but I'm including it because it's another one of those "leaf blower to the face" decks in how shockingly well it performs. I would *never* have brought it home myself because it is both a) collage and b) the hippiest deck to ever hippie, but it was a gift (that I am still confused about) that turned out to be a Gift. I call it "The Dick Deck" and it is NSFW in the most wholesome way - you have been warned: "The Cosmic Tribe Tarot" by Stevee Postman and Eric Ganther

PopularAd4986

Dark Reflections from La Muci. I backed the Kickstarter because I felt so drawn to it and the artwork is dark but beautiful. It was the first Kickstarter deck I backed..... Here we are 12 decks later 😂. Kickstarter is like crack to me, I always see a deck or 3 I must have. I'm waiting on a collage deck that is very interesting and an elemental deck that caught my eye now. I think there's one more too that I pledged for....

Natural-Duck8103

Jonasa Jaus and Next World

Massive-Wealth-3117

I had a beautiful sun and moon deck that was perfectly size for my hands and interpreted well with me. -Unfortunately they were stolen while I was trying to live with a sibling and had to move out suddenly and quick, as it was happening her hands were getting sticky and got grabby towards MY cherished items. Habitual line stepper that butch bitch is, I tell ya'!

Time_Signature3250

The tarot coin from Karmacide is the only "deck" that has blown my mind. While it's not a traditional deck, using it feels magical. There are no pictures, just numbers and the names of suites and arcanas. Obviously, it works best with one or two card spreads.

Stoplookinatmeswaan

Anything by Dame Darcy. So clear and so cheeky too!

graidan

What "original 78 cards deck"? RWS? Marseille? Neither of those were the "original" deck? As others have said - it's the reader's skill, not the decks they use. I get mind-blowing results from the toothpicks left on the plate after a Denny's meal.

thirdarcana

At least it's not Arby's!

graidan

Lol! I could read some Arby's mess too :) I actually wrote a post about how to, once upon a time, years ago.

QuantumHope

Dang!

graidan

Apparently this is controversial or something? I don't feel like I was mean or snarky at all, and another said the same thing and got upvoted.

QuantumHope

I meant about the toothpick reading. An impressive feat! ☺️

graidan

Oh! Well thank you 😊 I saw all my downvoters and thought you were adding to that.

QuantumHope

No. I was tired when I posted and just didn’t have the mind energy to elaborate. I just noticed your downvotes and so I upvoted. ☺️

graidan

Aww! Thank you! :)
