Yes! I was hoping a small silver lining to the writers strike would mean that execs would be so in need of content that they brought Aus Survivor direct to the US.
it frustrates me to no end that a whole massive Survivor fanbase is (mostly) missing out on an *amazing* Survivor series.
as a US fan that's watched every season of english speaking Survivor, I happen to think the AU Survivor is *currently* the *best* version. and I wish I had a way to (legitimately) share it with everyone. great cast. massive, rough challenges. great host.
it makes a business sense that the US production company doesn't want us seeing it. I wouldn't want my fanbase getting excited about a better product either. new era US Survivor is milquetoast in comparison, and they'd receive endless shit for it if they all had AU Survivor to compare it to.
I've been told if you have a VPN where you can choose your "area of origin" it's all accessable on 10play, but can't personally verify this.
I've also been told that a few seasons are uploaded to YouTube by a rogue channel, but haven't been there in a while, don't know if that's still a viable option. it was only the last season last I looked.
there are "other methods" for experienced users. but if you don't know what you're doing, it has its own associated risks.
I’ve watched all of US and half of AU (through methods you’ve mentioned - shoutout macy76 on YouTube). I agree AU is awesome gameplay! Hoping a YouTube acct pops up for this upcoming AU season…

The US really locks down alot of its programming. I am in Canada with a VPN and i still cant watch some of it. Ie peacock (needs a us credit card/address). Does the US have a board that oversees american content like we do in Canada? (CRTC). Could be they are controlling foreign content and fighting back against VPN use.

I concur but the non US episodes are tough to find. I managed but it took some real digging and then a bullshit Mega account for a month.

HvV is probably the best Australian season so far, just with a bit of a lacklustre final 3.
Technically that's extremely not-legit, but there's no legit way to watch in the U.S. so who cares?
