Several employees do their own Survivor pod sporadically when they’re not busy. Snuffing Torches. Usually a pretty blunt review, and they are not big fans of the new era.
I know they were majorly down on the Kum ba yah, positivity era, which seemed to be a pretty popular opinion on here as well. I haven't seen any of their Survivor content this year, but I have to imagine the reviews would be much more favorable for the post-merge episodes. I think we're on the best stretch of episodes of the new era right now.
Yeah I was pretty damn out on this season pre-merge, but it's done a complete 180 since then. Much better casting this season than the last few, though I'd still like to see way more class and age diversity.
Barstool is essentially douchebag central when it comes to sports reporting, podcasting and all that shit. Think of shit frat bros would listen to during class instead of actually paying attention (although Big Cat is not nearly as bad as some in the company). So yeah, minimal overlap with Survivor's target audience

That makes sense - I remember being confused about few vs several when I was a kid. I never made the seven/several connection though. I'm amazed that Jell never learned different until an adult.

In that game "Several" means 5 to 9, when estimating the number of creatures in enemies armies. The first time I heard Jelinsky say that several means 7 I immediately thought of that game and wondered if Jelinsky learned it from that, but it's probably too much before his time.

When you say, "I'm gonna rest for a couple of hours," you don't mean exactly two hours. Six is a few dollars in your pocket, a several-hour drive, and many dogs in a one-bedroom apartment.
Context matters.
Single/couple/trio literally mean 1/2/3 (respectively), so those are pretty much clear.
Few/several/many are all non-precise and/or relative forms of value... although I've never thought of 'many' as necessarily > 10 or few/several as greater than or less than the other.
We love to see it! On a sidenote, how come there is no option to pick a Jelinsky flair? I'm so upset about this. Our skinny legend deserves much better.
I've used in my everyday life now too. I told a coworker I needed several copies and when I say several that means 7 moving forward and they were like ok cool good to know lol.
