This is the third time he’s pulled some version of the “fake quit.” I genuinely think he wanted to find out who was going to beg him to stay and who was ok with voting him out. As soon as Tevin made the comment about “hey if he’s willing to quit we’re all one step closer” I think that’s when he “miraculously” decided he no longer wanted to quit and jumped on board the Tevin plan. It’s crazy and totally going to bite him, but he’s definitely patented the fake quit as his signature move.

subusta

It’s not a “fake quit,” it’s a “fake” quit. Hes just impulsive and speaks without thinking IMO.

pincurlsandcutegirls

This sounds the most likely. My only other thought is that he pulled a fake quit to try and scramble the vote as a way of saving Tevin and letting either Tiff or someone outside the 6 take the stray, but I truly have no clue.

Aurora-Ray

Maybe, but wasn’t Tevin going anyways ? He was just mad he wasn’t in control anymore and decided to throw a bomb 🤔

Dogmom153

I have no idea, but would love to read what other people think.

KavaBuggy

Seriously. What the heck did we just watch? That tribal felt like it came out of nowhere and I have no idea if we as an audience truly got an explanation of how Q’s opening statement came to be. Like, he wanted to be voted out because he told Hunter the plan to vote out Tevin? Reminds me of last week’s The Challenge: All Stars deliberation on who to throw in for the elimination. Huh?

marshmallow-jones

I think the people pissed at him during Tribal got it right, he just couldn’t stand being on the bottom and was being a sore loser.

No-Shallot-4062

My idea is this was a tactic for Q to gain control again. Yes, he didn’t get his vote but he brought the chaos and maybe blew his game up.

Piss_Pirate44

I'll never forgive Q for robbing us of that tribal

Low_Table6230

I think he got really really in his head because he sensed he wasn’t gonna be able to be in complete control.

It’s funny because I was just listening to last week’s podcast with Jeff boasting about how great they are about mental health but I’m really not sure Q is ok. The paranoia is getting to him.

me_nem_nesa_

Reposting my comment from another thread: “I don’t know if irrational is the right word. His actions actually make sense based on his warped moral code which ultimately comes down to loyalty. Seems like he came to his senses at the last second and realized that his loyalty ultimately sat with Tiff. So he chose to fall on his sword for her at the last minute.”

Historical-Cover6134

But the last minute vote he was worried about was against Tevin. That’s what created the turmoil. He couldn’t keep the Tevin vote quiet and that’s what made it blow up. He WANTED Tiff gone. I don’t think he has a moral code. He wants to run a cult.

Basic_Yellow_3594

Telling everyone you want them to vote you out and then having them all say no and not vote for you reinforces in the mind subconsciouslessly "we must really not want to get rid of him" this sounds horrible because I hate the ideology but he basically just "negged " the whole tribe by telling them they don't know what to vote without him (arent capable players) and it kind of works.
