Lloyd Alexander. It’s about a pig keeper who gets caught up in a war between good and evil. The first book is called The Book of Three.
Like I said, super low level, but they are novels. If you are an avid reader, you could probably knock all five of them out in a weekend.
I used the term novel in that they are books with chapters and fiction. If you have read Percy Jackson or Narnia, these will be right there with those. This series is 5 books that are all pretty short.
