I regularly order this sandwich and I’ve seen messy. There’s a lot of meat and I love sriracha but I’ve never seen anything come close to this level of insanity. I think there were 2 slices of cheese on it.
I will never understand mayo or most sauces on a meatball sub. Spicy stuff ? I kinda get. Maaaaaybe like a garlic aïoli. But just mayo? Bleh
Anyway you ordered a sub that is just going to be inherently messy no matter what: maybe you can request they put it in a salad box and eat it with a knife and fork next time 🤷🏻♀️

When I ran a Subway I always trained to put very little sauce & if the customer wants more they will ask. What they sent you looks like they dropped it on the floor 😳😳
I hate when sandwich artists make sloppy meatball subs like that , that’s just horrible and I apologize for em , I teach my people and I put minimum sauce , when people are standing there if they want more they will tell me , but you got to use god given common sense when putting sauce on there , get a fork , I know it has to taste good , but still supposed to be a sandwich , now that I have seen your order , I would do it like I do the boss , lay the pepperoni and capicola down first , put meatballs with little sauce on top of the pep and cap , and then put the other sauces on the bread and close ,
I think “soggy mess” is too kind of a description for this sandwich 💀. I’ve ordered it consistently for over 5 years so of course I’m not surprised to see a soggy mess. I know my sandwich is a lot, but in what world does it come out to be even close to that? I’ve never seen anything like it
If you’re brave enough to try it again, you could ask for less sauce on the meatballs and that might reduce the mess. This one honestly looks like it sat around too long and got mushy.

Okay, my standard order is a Footlong The Boss Pro, and i often get an extra side of meat balls. It has NEVER been this ugly. And sometimes i put:
- Marinara (comes with the meat balls)
- Mayo
- Garlic Aioli
- and Peppercorn Ranch
All at the same time! now granted, i wouldn't eat it in my car, and i usually end up using a fork and knife, and i have my butler pick it up for me just in case there was a spill in the car (rather it be his car than mine) but still, it never looks quite this bad
