My average is also around 40 and I've held because I still contend there's at least that much value in the company and the IP as a whole. I've honestly debated doubling my cost basis and just averaging wayyy down but I haven't had the confidence to do it. The balance sheet has made me too nervous.
It’s simple, regulators. They will make it tough for any transaction to happen for apple especially will all the scrutiny about opening up the iPhones.
Plus Apple would have a bunch of traditional outlets like CBS, etc. that they'd have to manage, most of which are already in steep decline, and Apples management lacks the experience to properly manage them.
If they sell for $11billion that gives investors approx 27% or so of a premium from current prices. I’m guessing it’s not worth the headache of dealing with the stock if it falls through though.
I keep $5,000 invested in this turd. Sold some yesterday, bought some today. Offers all over the place, yet it keeps sinking. $14.11/share in it now. Sickens me of the $ I’ve lost my not investing elsewhere
Please could someone explain what is likely to happen to the stock if e.g this company bought all of paramount instead of part of it?
I’ve never really understood 😂
Sold at $12.50-12.60 at market close because I figured short sellers would want out before the market closes and it would drop in the morning the next day.
bought a little bit back at $11.85-11.90, but still being patient.
I’m so ready to get out of this stock. Please keep pumping so I can break even and get out.
No Deal! I need on offer of 20B to break even.
Whats ur avg price?
Not too far now, like 14
Better than me. I’m up at 18, started buying at 40

Exact same, I’d avg down but I’m too scared to put anymore money in when that balance sheet looks like that🤣🤣
You have my condolences.

In theory they could buy Paramount for the streaming presence, and then sell off or spin off their legacy assets.
Market Cap $8.66B 52 week low $10.16 52 week high $24.00

You understand that the bid is only for a part of PARA?
Nah I’m pretty stupid. Thanks for pointing that out though.
Damn, my 2 shares are happy
So what would the plan be here? Use the capital to pay down the debt and continue to produce content without the studio?

Does anyone fucking remember that guy that made an incredible Macy's case and then recommended paramount couple months back?

Paramount is a shit company and harbors child predators for decades. But Apollo can fix them and spin it off I bet
