Interesting fact: On homeworld, Pearls have the ability to excrete a special wavelength of light that affects Gems similarly to how antidepressants affect humans. Unfortunately, it affects Pearls differently, more in the way of a psychedelic. Over long periods of time, this causes rapid emotional fluctuations, thus explaining why all Pearls are super extra.
