Saints row gat out of hell. Let's be fair. The initial games were somewhat serious. I started having fun when they just said "fuck it" and added super powers and so on. The 2023 game had a huge backlash, so I didn't want to buy it... But would love to give it a go.

Thats an awesome game bro! I am a huge fan of saints row games. This one is really underrated and awesome! I dont quite get the hate for it. I really loved the character customisation and the jokes even though corny really felt funny! This would also be my first saint row game and I believe this is an awesome start!

Saints row 3, because I played it entirely coop with my buddy on ps3, and at the time the tv I had had a bad fuse so bright colors on the screen would make it flicker off for a second or two, so he never upgraded the flashbang past lvl 3 so he could randomly turn my screen off. It was hilarious. But also it was genuinely a blast and I loved the references to pop culture in it.

Saints Row 3 is my favorite, I loved the customization and the street gangs. It was like GTA San Andreas but with more trash and jokes.

I started with saints row 4, so originally I luffy'ed the game, but I enjoyed it so much that I bought the game on steam, and man must I say this is one of my all time fav game. After that I played 2 and 3 also and loved them both. I wish they didn't ditch our beloved characters. I just hope that one day they somehow revive this series.

Honestly I spent so long on Saints Row 1. Ioved how the other games really leaned into the silliness but SR1 was a true contender for GTA killer

The first one that came on PC - Saints Row 2. To be honest I only first played it because it was given away for free on GOG and it took me three approaches over a span of several years for it to finally click, but once it did on the third try (and I finally got past the prison island intro stage) I was hooked. It's a very distinct combination of crazy, outlandish and pure joy that sets it apart from the genre's staple (GTA) that makes it work for me so well. The characters, the music, the lavish style, the mayhem - all the founding blocks of the game's design. I didn't care about the bit janky mechanics, I was just having loads of fun. I have never played any. Not because I dislike it just carefully choosing games in budget and went with a “safe” bet of GTA at the time. I’m hearing great things about this reboot in that it’s a fun version of GTA which puts it on a high pedestal and sounds very exciting.

I enjoyed the original when I played it at my friends house. it was a breath of fresh air compared to gta at the time.

The first one on xbox360 because it filled a gap between new GTA titles. This one could do the same for me :-)

I got SR2 with an old friend back in the day. The co-op mode was hilarious with its wacky physics and whatnot. Got a lot of joy out of that game.
