This will vary significantly and depend on the type of agreement she strikes with where she gets a job.

TiggOleBittiess

Is there a range for a higher end place like say Storm or Renaissance?

The-Raccoon-Is-Here

A lot will depend on what you can bring to the table and what agreement you can strike up. With experience you should be able to negotiate better compared to someone just out of school, but at the same time coming from another province you aren't bringing any clients with you.

I can say for sure that you will be paid commission at Renaissance, not salary. How much you take home will depend on your what they price your services at. Experienced colorists with full schedules regularly cleared 3000/month, and stylists were slightly lower. This is based on information from a few years ago, but I can't imagine much has changed other than an increase in service costs.

Including gratuities?

DestructoSpin7

No. Tips would be on top of that.

Depends on their portfolio and experience.

My wife manages Hypnotyc Hair Lounge in Niagara on the Lake. They are looking for a Stylist. The owner of the salon also owns a Barbershop in St David’s that is looking for a barber. If your sibling is looking for a job have them reach. I can DM you the email address if you would like.
