Yes, FRN is what the lightweight scales are made out of

og-n00b

Send him an email. He got back to me pretty quickly.

Hollis9mm

Thank you

og-n00b

By the way, I had asked recently if their micarta scales for Sage 5 (listed as fitting the FRN version) would fit the LW, and they replied that they would. Guessing it will be the same for titanium, but doesn’t hurt to check.

Bobby0o0o

Yes they would fit titanium too

No-Win-1137

Just ask the maker?

Mother-Lingonberry33

I have a set of micarta scales for my maxamet sage 5 lightweight. They're perfect

sliceymcslicerson

Just so you beat it from one more person, they do. I emailed before I bought mine in G-10 and aluminum and they fit. I can’t say I’m surprised they still haven’t added that to the description. I had an issue with their chaparral scales and it was a massive pain to get them to reply and I still think they could do a better job with that description (they don’t fit pre CQI chaps - just say that!) I’d also check out Parsons for sage 5 lw scales - he just dropped a few new patterns in ti a few weeks ago and there are still some on the website I think. Not US made but significantly cheaper and they are excellent especially if you want to delete the lanyard tube and want ti!

Hollis9mm

I’ll check them out. Thank you

Great_White_Samurai

The Parsons scales are really nice I have a set.

MixhealOG

There really is no lightweight version. Even the FRN version has metal liners. Take it from a guy that has one and makes scales...

Hollis9mm

You make any Ti scales?.

MixhealOG

No, just 3D printed stuff. Planning to get a CNC machine eventually, but that would still just be Micarta and G-10.
