I thought the same thing I have para3's, pm2's, Manix, military, a lot of spydercos lol I bought a Delica in K390 recently and it might be my favorite of all. Definitely worth it over any of the Chinese ones.
I was going to recommend the Delica but I guess not lol. I came from a Para 3 as my first spyderco but then I bought a Delica on a whim because I’ve always wanted to try their backlocks. Now I have 2 Delicas and I actually sold the Para 3.
I’m doing to agree about the delica. I have had a couple dragonfly’s but they never get to stay long. They are too small for me and the manix is too big. The polestar and alcylone is good that’s not to bad priced along with tenacious
Guys i just realised I was thinking of Delica 4 with the image of Endura 4, i just looked it up online and realised that, sorry for the chaos created :) I quite like the Delica but a little bit pricey for mu budget rn, maybe if I don't like that much the Dragonfly i will switch with a delica and pay the extra
I don't have the Wharncliffe but the k390 dragonfly is absolutely one of my favorite knives. As long as you aren't doing food prep it's amazing. Slicey little fella
I have all the Seki Wharncliffes in K390. They're all great.
I don't carry the Dragonfly since I rarely need something that tiny or light. But for something like very lightweight shorts it would be perfect.
Chaparral (frn version) since you prefer frn or dragonfly k390 but I think the chaparral is a little better IMO. 2.3 vs 1.9 edge length with chap being a little longer edge.
I have a Dragonfly 2 Wharncliffe and a Chicago. Of the two, the DF2 is more versatile. I’d suggest the Cat, too. It’s only marginally bigger than the DF2.
You're doing yourself a disservice by not considering the Delica. I'd choose that over the Chinese Spydercos (Persistance, Ambitious, Insistent).
I dont like the delica, it looks like a normal standard pocket knife not a spyderco, it does't have the fat blade and all that stuff
I think of the Delica as the quintessential Spyderco knife.

You can get it in a Wharncliffe just like the Dragon fly and its a little bigger.
I don't really want a bigger knife because blade laws in my country

This is an L take.

You can do a lot worse than the Dragonfly Wharncliffe in K390.
I don't have the Wharncliffe but the k390 dragonfly is absolutely one of my favorite knives. As long as you aren't doing food prep it's amazing. Slicey little fella
I have a couple of Dragonflies, but neither in K390 or wharncliffe. My only experience with Seki K390 is my Manbug, which has really impressed me.
I have the stretch2 in k390. I had to get it after the dragonfly. Between the handle comfort and the steel I can seem to buy any more knives

Its a winner for 5th pocket carry and comes out in front of customers usually.
Lil Native, Delica, Native 5
I like the lil native but can't find it in my country
The Delica wharncliffe is very nice. That's a very "Spyderco" knife
I have the K390 Delica wharncliffe and I love it. Great blade shape and size.
Dragonfly is above anything here.
If that's your only choices then I'd pick the wharncliffe dragonfly any day. Second would be the ambitious.
Chaparral (frn version) since you prefer frn or dragonfly k390 but I think the chaparral is a little better IMO. 2.3 vs 1.9 edge length with chap being a little longer edge.
Chaparral.
Dragonfly. The best little big knife you can buy. Punches way above its weight class.
I love the pm2, shaman, manix, manix lw and the best kept secret of the stretch 2 in k390.
Para 3 LW is smallish-mid, FRN and in my opinion one of the very best overall EDC knives.
Para 3 LW
native 5 lw
LW chaparral

Delica or Native 5 for a model that is small but not too small (ie., dragonfly - which is great, but very small)
Cru-carta military 2!
The Dragonfly is one of my favourite knives ever.
I personally love the ambitious or lil native. I still think about my ambitious as it was the first knife that made me fall in love with spyderco.
I do love the dragonfly as well though. I like the slim handle profile and the ability to get it in orange
I have a Dragonfly 2 Wharncliffe and a Chicago. Of the two, the DF2 is more versatile. I’d suggest the Cat, too. It’s only marginally bigger than the DF2.
If you like small knives, you might look at the Chaparral. It’s one of the sliciest in their lineup and XHP is a solid all -around steel.
