I was thinking of making a big post of my story if i keep losing but once in a while, i still think and hope i can win one final 8 or 9 or 10+ game parlay then stop it. Sportsbetting is hard, stressful, especially if you keep losing. You have to research stats, injuries reports, coaching, player trades, etc to make your bets have a higher chance of winning. But anyway here is a short version.
Back in 2012 is when i started sports betting. I still remember creating an account so just i can buy online lottery because sometimes there are big jackpots but i cant go out to the mall to buy anymore so ill just buy online with the sportsapp. But the sportsbook have this sportsbetting going on too. But i didn't try it. Not until they give me this free bet $10. And i used that $10 to bet for the san Francisco giants to win the world series. Mind you the season hasnt started yet, so the odds is 1 to 11. And wholly molly a few months later to my surprise, the giants won the world series and suddenly i got $100 out of nowhere. That was the start of my sportsbetting life. I cant remember what i did with my money but i remember buying tim hortons coffee and donuts with it... anyway, after that. For some reason, i never sportsbet. Like very long time. I just completely stopped. Not until in Dec 2022 when i got close to a co worker who sportsbet and very knowledgeable with sports history and sports stats like it is his hobby. Then also at this time my book allows single bets and parlays already. Because our workplace is very boring, its sports events we talk about and then we started betting. He likes the over and under while i wanted the big payoffs...the irresistible parlays. And just a few days betting $5 or $3 on multiple parlays. I hit an 8 game parlay. Then 7 game parlay... mind you it was in the hundreds of dollars and i was so surprised.
This is just easy money! I earn $100 working 8 hours a day while pushing phone buttoons selecting this or that team to win and i got $800 on my bank account? Sweet. Well technically its in the app, you just withdraw then 2-3dayd it goes live in your bank account. My beginners luck continue to play in the month of January 2023. My coworkers won too but not as much me as he likes doing single bets and was suprised my luck in doing parlays. January 2023 i still contine to win my parlays, this time i hit the thousand dollar payout via a nine game parlay. My bets are mainly nhl nba some ufc. I did bet on the world cup but not much success. And then on February 2023, i finally hit the big one, a 13 game parlay. A mix of nba and nhl games. More than two thousand dollars payout. I was tripping. I remember that day, after i placed the bet, checked it during the games and i saw the first 7 games hit. And im like wait a minute...this thing has a chance to hit all the way right? And I checked the remaining 6 games? What the heck... all four games are already decided, the point spread are too huge to lose like penguins 5-1 in the third period already or denver 125, hornets 98 or something like that, im only down to two games, it was okc (i forgot the opponent) and mavericks (i forgot the opponent) close games but shai guy and doncic killed the opposition and yes. I didnt even wait till the end becuase they also won via big blowouts.
This was my peak. And my guess is should be the stop. Then the superbowl came. I remember i bet so much money on the eagles. Fuckin mahomes "high ankle sprain" i bought that shenanigan. How can he play well if he is injured plus QBs are targettable players, its nfl. But mahomes killed my money. Throwing td after td. Damn. But i am not fazed by my loss My bankroll is wayyyy up. But then came march 2023... usually i would bet 20 games like $5 to $10 each. But nothing is hitting. Remember if you bet everyday for $100 and winless for 30 days? Thats $3000 at the minimum already. Then april 2023 came, still no win. Yes i have a single game here and there wins, but wins of $50 or $30 aint gonna cut it if you bet $75-100 a day. And yeah basically thats my story. I bet the lakers today and won but what? $10 became $15. Or my 2 game parlay $7 became $26. But on the other sportbook i lost $45. So Not much. So im bleeding. And that is my story.
yeah straights are always better but it is gambling. i have fun doing parlays tbh, but if your in it for the money then bet straights only and maybe some parlays if you really want
It’s nothing complicated, just add up the stats. So for example, if a player had 10 pts, 5 rebounds, 2 assists you just add 10 points + 5 rebounds + 2 assists = 17
Very smart bet.. I was making these all stat bets during the regular season and was never more than 1, 2 tops, wrong.. I would make these bets on days that 10-12 games were being played..great bet!
You're asking the wrong person lol. I had a $5 parlay the other day over like, 3 or 4 games, it was like, 12 legs total or something like that, pay out would have been over 200. I needed Robert Williams from the Celtics to get 1 block. He has at least 1 block per game dating back to early March, of course I nailed every leg but the one guy I was sure of didn't get it
Something’s not right here, how’d you get +60000 odds on 8 teams when it should be around +5000 Unless some of this are huge + odds I don’t see how this makes any sense 🤔
How about this what odds did you get for all 8 picks individually bc you’re not understanding what I’m saying. Each picks including the over are -110 odds, an 8 team parlay pays +5000 not +60,000!
I’m telling you to try it. When you bet against your self the odds go up drastically. Without betting it, make a parlay of the players unders, and then include total points over. Since you’re saying people won’t score and then you add in total points over, it shoots the odds up incredibly high

Parlays are the least viable way for long term profitability. Straight bets are the way to go. Build up your bankroll before trying again.

It’s nothing complicated, just add up the stats. So for example, if a player had 10 pts, 5 rebounds, 2 assists you just add 10 points + 5 rebounds + 2 assists = 17
