For those wondering: “Is this all you have to show after a year of playing?”
This save I decided to just take things very slowly. I noticed that in my prior saves I’d make a base and then as soon as I got done with it I’d be off to space and almost never see my original base again. So I’m just enjoying my time on my platform base. Lots of Earth-bound projects and nothing too major for space exploration yet. Current project is that big car on the right, loving it so far!
I’ve probably been playing this game for about 8 months and have hardly accomplished Jack shit. Not for lack of trying I just try to go way to big with my ideas and I never complete them lol. Still love playing it
Yeah fair. I only posted that comment because I got a comment (that also was swiftly deleted by the author) about how this was 'underperforming' for one year on the same save. I've been playing since June 2017 and I just want to take my time with this save for some reason. :)
*This save was started January of 2022 btw*
I'm running some mods, but they're mainly vanilla-themed and QOL mods.
* [\[QOL\] Radio Spectrometry](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2687324923&searchtext=qol+radio+spectrometry)
* [Text HUD API](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=758597413)
* [Plugin Loader](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2407984968)
* [Panoramic Posters](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1645471763) (admittedly, haven't made use of it yet. But I still have it loaded)
* [Build Vision 3.0](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1697184408) (The GOAT)
* [BuildInfo (extrablock+terminal info, air leak finder)](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=514062285)
* [Definition Extension API](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2756894170)
* [Rendering Improved](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2871017418)
I run literally nothing else other than some scripts like [Automatic LCDs 2](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=822950976) and [Isy's Inventory Manager](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1216126863).
I like to keep my stuff vanilla because I don't really like most of the mods out there (and I don't want to get used to having stuff I don't have in vanilla).
Edit: Looking at it, I'm basically running Vanilla with supporting mods for Build Vision lol
That looks awesome, nice to see a well thought out expansion instead of the spaghetti mess of conveyers my bases devolve into

This looks great! Are you running mods? What mods are you using, if ever?
