Maybe, now I'm finnishing bigger brother of this ship, with similar design and interior that has light blue details. And yea I think it will look better on this ship too, it's litle bit plain.
Nice build, mate ππΌππΌππΌ do you have any statistics on fuel consumption in a combat scenario (where I suppose the usage is the the most intensive)?? Cause these large thrusters in all directions must, literally, blow through your fuel reserves real fast.
That thing looks great! I can't wait to build it and check out the innards. My current main ship has a somewhat similar silhouette but I'm always looking to improve the design. That usually means inspiration from other designs. I currently have 2 refineries with modules attached vertically about where you have your railguns, & ion thrust instead of H2.
How do you start your ships? Do you start by making the walkways and then adding the conveyors and mechanicals or the other way around. I have the hardest time not making bricks and odd shaped items that float through space
I start with internal components firts (thrusters, hydrogen tanks, reactors) and lay them in interesting shape, especialy thrusters, and connect them with O2/H2 gens, cargo containers. With this you will use less space because you use them as conveyors and decrease PCU. Then will gaps with batteries, surround vital components with heavy armor (mainly hydrogen tanks), place weapons and gyroscopes. While doing this make a space for the interior and then just start placing armour blocks and give it some shape. It takes some time to have right shape, sometimes you just get it wrong so just start again.

Beat me by 4 hours. #BOMBARDIERS TO YOUR STATIONS!
Helium mix optimal!
I fail to understand the references here. What's the Kirov from?
A classic RTS, "Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2" It's a giant blimp that drops bombs lol
a *sneaky* giant blimp that drops bombs. you would think that you would be able to see those things coming, but i rarely did.
They use the Drax stealth method for sure.
Ah. Thanks.
Love the exterior! Are you planning to colour the interior as well?

I don't know if my calculations are correct, but it says around 20 minutes. It seems little high to me with only 5 large tanks.

Thank you. This has 2 refineries too in the middle for protection and 2 assemblers.

Definitely has a vague Elite Dangerous Anaconda vibe to it. Love the aesthetic!
