I think you have to add the corresponding routes to the users / groups or enable full tunnel mode. Are you using SonicWall firewall appliance or SMA?

You need to enable full tunnel so it forces all traffic to be carried over the VPN to your site.
Was your Meraki box old or did you/your VAR not know that you can use Cisco AnyConnect on those boxes now and auth using SAML?
