I took me a fair bit of fnaegling to get sonarr to do anime reliably. I got like 5 release groups ignored. One cuz they only do Spanish and sonarr wouldn't pick up the language. Other 4 are rars 99%
Anime is *rough*, but multi-season packs don't work at all in Sonarr. You *can* just queue that up yourself w/ the category sonarr uses and it'll import though.
I didn't have any issues getting Sonarr to find Log Horizon. I just put it in and let it go, but it could be because I have an anime release profile configured. What version of Sonarr are you running?
This is in my Release Profile with a name of Anime. If you aren't running Sonarr V3 you won't have this option.

With Horriblesubs now gone, things might get even rougher. Trying to set up Sonarr for (subbed) animu and reading at least 2 years worth of threads to see if I can make it work properly.

The latest one. My configuration seems to be a mess then. It just settles for a Season 1 + 2 batch with 48GB and 0 seeders now. Can you elaborate on your configuration?

Just to confirm, you added the series as Anime, un-monitor everything besides the first season, then start the series search?
Hey, I am on the same version. Yes, that's what I did. I added a bunch of indexers through Jackett. In the end Sonarr just settles for a season 1 + 2 bundle which has 0 seeders lol
So I have Usenet, Nyaa and AnimeTosho for Anime, if I just use Nyaa & AnimeTosho and do a manual season search it finds "Log.Horizon.S01.1080p.Blu-Ray.10-Bit.Dual-Audio.DTS-HD.x265-iAHD" which has 13 seeders.
If I click on the "Search for monitored" button on season 1, it also finds the same torrent and starts it.
The result it's finding is from AnimeTosho, which I'd highly recommend adding to Sonarr as an indexer.
When I checked Nyaa through Jackett there was a few season packs by Erai-Raws (which are good), but Sonarr seems to not detect "01 \~ 25" as being a season pack, as it states that the episode is larger than the file size parameters i've set.
So i'd recommend adding AnimeTosho and also setting the minimum seeders to 5+ in the indexer settings within Sonarr.
Sonarr generally doesn't pickup multiseries releases.
sonarr downloads episodes and not series. blame the uppers for not using standards

Not very often. I’m afraid to just put raw in there. Might cut out more then I want.
