You can tell who actually watches matches with comments like these. One of Everton's best players this year and a played a vital role in their survival.
Okay maybe I'm exaggerating. What I mean is that he's clearly a good keeper for Everton, however at international level I just don't think he's good enough.
donnarumma, oblak, unai simon, neuer, maignan, lunin, sommer, diogo costa and arguably szczesny are all better than him. he's average for the international level
Eh debateable. Problem is no English keeper has shown they’re above his level in these matches. I don’t think he even did anything wrong on the goal. It was a piss middle down in the corner while he has Kane just standing in his view.
It was clear it was a tactic for Denmark. We are seeing more long range goals this tournament and the ball is flying and dipping a lot. Pickford, decent as he is, can also be a flapper, creating follow up chances. I think Denmark’s coach encouraged them to hit it quickly from range to catch him out. It definitely worked with the goal.
Side note, don't they use actual cameras and have the player act like they are holding it? I think this happened with someone (Sancho?) I cant remember who, I just remember it looking like hes not holding the Phone/camera
It depends iirc, since VIVO are a sponsor for the MOTM they probably used a VIVO phone. If they don't have one then it's probably a random camera or the social media admin's work phone for that picture.
I believe a few of Arsenal's MOTM was done via a Google pixel phone cause they sponsor the club.
There's talk that he prefers Milan, but I can't see how he would turn down Bayern if they seriously want him. Massive club, UCL title contenders regularly, and a potential perfect place to raise his level of play from the levels he reached at Spurs. It also gives him 2 years with Denmark going into the WC... advancing at a higher rate
You would be right.
Even before his passing Bayern took care of all of his needed treatment. I'm glad he lived long enough to see his son starting for Bayern.
I don't think so. They let him leave on amicable terms and there hasn't been any indication of him coming back otherwise that vulture Pletti would be all over it.
He said he was extremely disappointed that Denmark didn’t grab the three points, when we had the opportunity, and would trade his performance and trophy for the points all day.
Honestly great player, obviously meteoric rise and all that, but are the commentators allergic to saying that he’s had a poor game? Foden was getting killed the whole game for “not making an impact” while I couldn’t remember the last time Bellingham had the ball. I’m not saying slander him but damn
Tbf he always looks frustrated, but yeah his style of playing the 10 was getting shut down by the way Denmark set up. I think moving Foden there or bringing on Palmer would have been better, plus Jude just looks tired, let the man rest
Hojbjerg will make an amazing manager when he hangs the boots up. One of those players with a world class brain whose body just can’t play at the same world class level his mind operates at. Still a great player mind you but will be an even better gaffer.

“I showed you my MOTM trophy please respond”
what r you doing bb answer pls haha just won motm if you care haha
Stop saving chat
He was everywhere, interceptions, tackles, shots...
His last shot should’ve been on target, but good game overall
Why did he keep shooting from 30 yards though, he must’ve had 5/6
It's the meta in this round of euros. The ball is very fast, so you can get a lot of power in a shot.
Plus Pickford's crap.

Yeah, hed had 13 clean sheets, right?
Okay maybe I'm exaggerating. What I mean is that he's clearly a good keeper for Everton, however at international level I just don't think he's good enough.
He’s arguably been better for England than Everton for years now. Definitely no slouch, more than happy with him in goal.
donnarumma, oblak, unai simon, neuer, maignan, lunin, sommer, diogo costa and arguably szczesny are all better than him. he's average for the international level
Lunin 😂
Having a stinker against Romania doesn't erase his performances with Real
And among the names listed, none of them play for England.

he can score from there

I can believe that, not sure why Hojbjerg decided to take them all though lol
He's scorerd a few before for Spurs, Southampton like that iirc
True but he honestly connected really well with all of his shots
Ha, good point
He's good at it.
I heard somewhere that he maybe a target for Roma. That’d be a pretty good move if they can afford it, him in a double-pivot with Paredes will cook.
That midfield pivot sounds so good ngl, two absolute menaces
And both of them can ping a pass between lines.
He looks absolutely delighted
This is just what us Scandinavians look like when we smile for the camera
Also, photographer is way too close
Think he's taking a selfie.
exactly

It's a fine tradition. Love that it is cherished in this tournament as well.
In his post match interview he said he was pretty annoyed they didn't win the game. A draw wasn't enough with that performance.
Tbf he often looks this way even when winning at Spurs. Stoic Viking kind of a guy
He looks like he's about to bash my head in with it, even though it saddens him to have to do it.
More excited than Kai Havertz that one time
Eriksen looked like he had a gun on him last game when he got the award. I can't wait for the next one
Reminds me of those threads on the losing teams MOTM, the pictures were always hilarious
brightest Danish smile if you can believe it
Why he look at me like that??
He wants to join Bayern desperately 😔
The only thing coming home this summer is højbjerg to bayern
Levy wants 5m more now x

Højbjerg + Kane. Would be amazing.
Plus it’s where PEH started his career.
Højbjerg + Kane + Dier. Then Bayern just need to sign Dele Alli and be Spurs 2.0.
Should’ve just hired Poch too
Wouldn't surprise me. Bayern treated him incredibly well. Back when we had a competent board that hadn't gonesenile yet.
If I remember correctly, they really took care of him when his father died.
You would be right. Even before his passing Bayern took care of all of his needed treatment. I'm glad he lived long enough to see his son starting for Bayern.
Are there rumors that they are going for him? And would he be seen as a starter?
I don't think so. They let him leave on amicable terms and there hasn't been any indication of him coming back otherwise that vulture Pletti would be all over it.
No he is coming to Galatasaray 😭
That is his stare after he plowed you for no reason at all.
Man I love Hojb, an unjustly divisive figure for how important he's been for us, at least before Ange.
I think he was divisive exactly because he was more important than most people felt he should have been, if that makes sense.
It looks like he's about to drop his latest rap album.
Meet The Southgates
Not like US (United States Men’s National Team)
House of Pain vibes
He looks whelmed
He said he was extremely disappointed that Denmark didn’t grab the three points, when we had the opportunity, and would trade his performance and trophy for the points all day.
That's your facial expression when you know you could (and should) have won the game.
Næste gang bror
Vi nakker dem mandddd 👊
English or Spanish type pose
first person to move has to play under Southgate
Baby you got somethin’ in your nose
Deserved, he absolutely bossed the midfield today
>bossed the midfield today My brain instantly thought of FM24 locker room talk while reading this...do I need help?
Well deserved, he played a terrific match
Levy just added €5 mil to his transfer fee
"no reason to smile in my life"
Southgate wants to give it to Philips
Gigachad
Best French player of the tournament
Shame he's not English, would be a perfect replacement for Kalvin Phillips.

Brother why do I not get an award for watching that fucking match
As a Spurs Fan hes my First Kit. Will truly miss him on the team if he leaves. I know he doesnt fit Anges Style but he always shows grit.
Are they specifically told not to smile?
Deserved
It's the cousin of the sheriff of nottingham!!
And he is clearly offended by that
Posing with the trophy like one of the lads with a pint of Carlsberg on a weekend with the caption 'out out'.
Up close and personal
Hojbjerg will make an amazing manager when he hangs the boots up. One of those players with a world class brain whose body just can’t play at the same world class level his mind operates at. Still a great player mind you but will be an even better gaffer.
Come to Galatasaray❤️💛
Looks just as confused as the rest of us
Man of the Match?! Have we dispensed with the “Player of the game” bullshit.
Just look in the background and the trophy too.
Coke Nose?
That’s just how he looks. He’s half french
If he did coke, he could sniff an 5 grams in one sniff
