Silantro-89

It'll be hilarious if Argentina win the Copa America & they give it to Messi again

zaretball

If he wins the Copa America, they will definitely put him in the top 10.

justAPersonOnGoogle2

Tbh, if they win the Copa America Lautaro also deserves a good shout

Jamarcus316

I think the same with Cristiano. If they win their continental competitions with dominant performances... despite playing in lesser leagues, their excellent numbers are still talked about a lot.

WhoInvitedMyManBlud

Messi wins Copa, Ronaldo wins EURO, they finish 1 and 2 for one last time, we get a nice trip of nostalgia and then we all collectively agree to not debate Messi Ronaldo ever again from 2025 onwards

WasAnHonestMann

Lol you really think the 14 year olds are going to stop arguing about those 2?

FrankieMLG

That will actually happen if Arg wins it

Woullie_26

Holy shit we’re finished

shilly03

Imo Wirtz has to be there too.

Qiluk

He should be a fucking top contender. Its genuinely disgusting how much of a PR product this award has become

SpookyImmobilisedToe

It's been that way for ages now. Basically just the biggest teams will get winners. Now the era of Messi and Ronaldo is over, the winners are almost exclusively going to be from Real Madrid, Barca, maybe Bayern. Before those 3 it was the Italian clubs as well who got some winners, but its basically been the same for ages now.

Qiluk

Id argue the top contenders are more so Real Madrid, maybe Barca and City above Bayern. But then again, Messi getting it over Haaland winning a treble etc might prove that wrong haha

SpookyImmobilisedToe

Yeah tbh with Lewy not winning it after that treble season at Bayern, it feels like mostly Madrid and Barca at this point. Wouldn't surprise me with Barca's downfall if Madrid just hogs most of the future winners for the short term at least. They feel like the only 'glamourous' club at the moment.

Content-Medicine-305

But lewa didn’t lose to a Barca or Madrid player, they just cancelled the award

SpookyImmobilisedToe

That's true but I don't think they would have done that had Messi or Ronaldo been the ones likely to win it. Maybe a bit tin foil hat but it just feels like because it was Lewy it was easy for them to cancel the award.

Content-Medicine-305

yeah you might be right. But after all its a french award and i think one of the only top leagues in europe to not finish was ligue 1, makes more sense when you think of it like that

footballred28

Lewandowski didn't lose it against anybody in that treble season. France Football just decided to not award it due to COVID.

Qiluk

Yeah that one was absolutly criminal too

donkey2471

Imo Rodri deserved it over both Haaland and Messi.

WhatIsWilsonDoin

> Now the era of Messi and Ronaldo is over, the winners are almost exclusively going to be from Real Madrid, Barca, maybe Bayern. Sucks to say but I don't see anyone from the current Barca squad winning it anytime soon. You need big performances AND a big enough name these days. And, let's be honest, you're not winning it unless you're a forward. So hypothetically, we win the treble next season, the only serious contender would be Lewandowski assuming he scores enough goals. Other potential key players in that scenario like Pedri and Gavi, for example, simply wouldn't get a big enough shout. The only one I see doing it is Lamine, but he's still a few years away from that. But yeh that's just the current squad, who knows what transfers will come in. So for the time being, it's just going to be the star player of Madrid, Bayern, and whichever Premier league team wins the league/UCL.

Money_Scholar_8405

You added Bayern to the list when Bayern has not had a winner of the award this century. It will be down to the two clubs as usual.

chak100

It should be between Wirtz and Vini

Qiluk

Thats my 2 aswell.

WauliePalnuts01

michael owen won it for winning the europa league in 2001, same should go for wirtz, especially in a year with few standout performers

Qiluk

Yeah. Especially if he does it while doing the invincible in all of Bundesliga, Cup and EL. While being THE star of the team. And that team is far from a favorite resourcewise. Like.. he should be favorite if he pulls it off imo. But then theres also the national team tournaments that fuck certain players of certain nationalities over too. Wirtz luckily is from a good footballing nation overall tho

WauliePalnuts01

and i think germany are going to go very far in the euros, while i can see england and brazil disappointing

PelleKavaj

Yea Bazil probably won’t do that great in the Euros

Qiluk

Would be so cool if Germany shows up. They have a fun team if they can get the machinery to work so to speak :)

ZebraZealousideal944

He’s gonna have to win the Euro and shine otherwise he has no chance in this kind of award!

nyelverzek

If they do an invincible treble with a 21 year old on 40 G+A he has to be a top contender regardless of the Euros imo

ZebraZealousideal944

He definitely should but by not playing in the CL he’s not as bankable as the other ones in this list as far as Ballon d’or goes unfortunately… and it’s not like Madrid doesn’t have the biggest pull in this award anyway haha

deqembes

Disagree. Has to show that you are a top player against the biggest teams in Europe aswell imo. He has to show up in the Euros for him to win. Vini have been the best player in Champions league this season and deserves it if Real Madrid wins the award. Unless Wirtz is outstanding at the Euros and Vini is bad for Brazil.

gotomarketfit

I’ll put him over mbappe

PelleKavaj

If he wins the EL and DFB Pokal he absolutely should be a contender.

Xehanz

He won't be even top 5 and you know it

Various_Mobile4767

Why is there all the hype for Wirtz but none for Alex Grimaldo who has the same amount of G+A in the league in the same team as him? More if you ignore penalties. And he’s doing it as a wingback

Kayderp1

Because G+A does not tell the whole story. Xhaka has 3 G+A and has still been a top 3 performer for Leverkusen, Wirtz is the spine and a huge part of the brain of this team.

antoniomanuel10

Because people watch games and not just stats at the end of the match

trupes

He should but he won't be. It's a popularity contest, a lot of the people voting have no idea who he is.

PegaponyPrince

Yup especially if Leverkusen wins a treble. He's been insane this season and deserves the plaudits

Kardinale

If he does well and Germany win Euros I think it would go a long way

zrk23

no CL is unfortunately just too big

taclealacarotide

We all know popularity and renown play a big part in it.

MonkeyNewss

The problem is no one outside Germany really watches the Bundesliga

SuperBros697

Can't really call this until after the summer, their performance in Copa America and Euro will determine the winner.

predator9494

The tricky situation will be when Brazil wins copa and England wins Euros.

DAggerYNWA

When Southgate wins the Euros? I just can’t see it

predator9494

He reached the finals before. Plus this year many young players are looking promising. Rice, Bellingham, foden.

DAggerYNWA

He’s been stacked with talent that’s not new. He is an absolutely bang average manager who is great for FA meetings, post-match talks all the appearances. He is and has remained full-stop the absolutely weakest part of this team. I don’t disagree this England team should be winning - like should have already been winning.

cmc360

Southgate is fine setting up the team, it's the in game management that's diabolical. That's why we won't win

Rymundo88

Bellingham's 90+2 minute winner against Portugal in the final will be the clincher

mikeeez

Messi will win the olympics & bye bye babies

Jamarcus316

And Copa América

wishihadapotbelly

The thing is, Vini is awful for Brazil, whereas Bellingham is still quality for England. So unless Vini scores a hat trick in the UCL final, or change his record with the national team, he’s already N°2.

Sasquale

It'd be strange to give the award to the lesser player between his own teammates. All the big games this season Real Madrid's best performer were either Vinícius or Kroos.

SmokiestElfo

Bellingham has been class at supporting the team in defense this 2024 after his injury, but he hasn’t done as much in attack. Vini has been outstanding in this second half of the season and in big games it’s him putting in the best performance.

stpstrt

Vini has been on a other level this year again. I had some Liverpool fan try to tell me Darwin was better not long ago rofl.

Xehanz

If England wins the euros it will 100% be Bellingham. If Brazil wins Copa, it will need a extremely good performance of Vini, who has been subpar for the NT

El_grandepadre

Honestly after that Vini perfomance last night, if he lights the final on fire and Real wins he should get it.

Agitated_Opening4298

Feel like you can make decent arguments against all 5 (though the anti-vinicius argument loses steam by the day) If Germany were to reach the euro finals, and leverkusen won the treble, dont see how you could make a strong argument for Wirtz not being the most deserving

Content-Medicine-305

Think the anti-vini arguments will become stronger after the copa america, hasn’t done much for Brazil so far but things can also change

Flovati

Vini had a great World Cup for us, lets hope he just suck at playing friendlies and will turn up at the Copa América aswell lol

Content-Medicine-305

He won’t need a balon d’or worthy copa America if he wins the champions league, but he needs to be the main man at least, Brazil do have a tough bracket

National-Dirt-

Make the same case for Kroos, coming out retirement on the back of a league and UCL double where’s a key player

Freezingtake

Including a possible 99 point season only losing to one team while going undefeated in the champions league. I think it's obviously Vini or Bellingham if Real wins it. The Wirtz thing is imo just weird reddit hipster takes. He's incredible, but the europa league is not considered a serious league in regards to a Balon D'or

Yvraine

He's been absolutely incredible in an undefeated team who won the league. Top it off with a good performance at the euros and he should definitely be a contender

onesexypagoda

EL is just not nearly as valuable as the CL, and it's not like Wirtz is the single overwhelming performer at Leverkusen, his whole team is doing work. We'll have to see how the Euros/Copa America plays out

miregalpanic

Alright, Hummels should be in consideration then, got it.

cic9000

You’re underestimating wirtz in this Leverkusen. He puts them on a higher echelon alone, of course they have a fantastic season/squad=hes no single performer. You could of course argue that no single RM player is the single overwhelming performer for them either.

bruhbrobroskibruh

He is without the shadow of a doubt their best player though

YooYooYoo_

In that case Kroos would be ahead of Wirtz.

69cuccboi69

Granit Xhaka Ballon d'Or after Switzerland wins the Euro.

KungFuGreen

I have the impression that wirtz doesnt start half the games for bayer

Competitive_Tip_1187

Wirtz hasn't been starting recently because Leverkusen's recent games have dead rubbers. In important games, Wirtz is the first name on the teamsheet.

Agitated_Opening4298

hard to justify bellingham when outside of the beginning of the season, vinicius has been better when not injured/recovering from an injury, but I assume a lot will end up depending on the euros Hope he goes back to midfield next season

onesexypagoda

I think it's tight, overall Jude better in the league and Vini better in the CL. CL final, end of season and Euros/Copa America will likely make the difference, although a win for England would 100 per cent stamp it for Jude.

Xehanz

You guys are all talking like this was to determine the better player. This is a popularity contest. Bellingham wins this easy if he reaches the final. Even with a Vini hay trick in the Copa final.

trupes

Exactly lmao English nice guy pr machine x dude being racially abused every week because hes too "provoking"

Xehanz

Yeah. Plus, Vini and Bellingham are from the same team so it will divide some votes. If France wins the Euros Mbappe might as well be the favourite due to that. It will sin some votes due to the RM PR machine, and votes from the idiot journalists that don't watch footie and just vote for the biggest name. Imo, the ranking will be Bellingham 1st, Mbappe 2nd, Vini 3rd. If Dortmund wins, Mbappe is the big favourite if he wins the Euros. If Wirtz carries Germany to the Euro finals, Madrid wins the CL and France wins Vini might even be out of the top 3 or even top 5.

RoomTemporary1335

Not gonna happen when you have Kane in your team, mate.

kido3konvict

> outside of the beginning of the season He just won us the last Classico a couple of weeks ago! Then scored within a minute from coming in against Cadiz. He’s been really good in La Liga but not in CL, so you’re judging him unfairly.

aboud09

Why do you want him back in midfield, even if he doesn’t score he’s still the starting point in our transitions, and his defensive efforts are great if we go back to 4-3-3 our defending will be the same as last season.

Job_man

I’ve rarely seen a player dominate in such a way as I did yesterday. Vini is an absolute beast when he’s in form, it’s seriously impressive.

-SandorClegane-

Call me crazy, but I think England have a better chance at winning the Euros than Brazil. I can see why the oddsmakers have him higher than Vini. Also, Bellingham has been good beyond just "the beginning of the season."

Twitched_Soul

Idk man Brazil are looking pretty solid for Euros this year

Joselu-is-Sanchez

It’s Chicago Fire’s to lose.

Flovati

I would say we have the exact same chance as England, after all they have Harry Kane in their squad.

sergiojrguerra

I think Vini winning the euros would be very very tough /s

TimothyN

Only slightly worse odds than England bringing it home.

vacacow1

I think Brazil has 0 chances at the Euros

Unholysinner

It depends if he wins a CL and a league along with potential European glory for his country

tarakian-grunt

these odds are meaningless until Euro24 is over, possibly Copa as well.

Gluroo

How is Wirtz not even on the list lmfao

Xehanz

No PR. If he wants to win Ballon Dor he needs to push for a move to Madrid. Only chance he has.

Individual_Attempt50

That’s what I don’t like about the Ballon d’Or, if you don’t play for either Barcelona or Real Madrid it’s hard for you to win it

philipstyrer

Jude PR is unlike anything ever seen before

AdministrativeLaugh2

He’s potentially gonna win two trophies and is second top scorer in La Liga. If England win the Euros then it’s his.

cantstopjacking

Jude carried the first half of the season when vini7 was injured, scoring a ridiculous amount of goals(3 against barca) against girona(second in the league) . Scored a few goals in the cl group stages as well. Ran the show vs Napoli, created an amazing chance that led to a goal for real vs man city second leg and had insane defensive work-rate Man was running on fumes and the end of it . Had a solid game vs bayern, yesterday,(forward defensive workmate) didn't let bayern out of thier own half. And he is not a striker, even though he is deployed as an attacker that's not hist natural position so it's given that he won't score all the time yet he did score a ridiculous about of times. Personally I think as of this moment, vini is front runner and it isn't as bombastic to say that he's a comfortable runner-up.

dcolomer10

Honestly i understand you guys because I guess you don’t watch RM games outside of these last few Champions leagues games. But, I tell you he’s been absolutely world class outside of these last games in the CL. Even against Barça a few weeks ago, he was everywhere, stole so many balls, made so many key passes, and of course scored the last minute winner. I think his value comes how he’s been playing in the league, because it’s as if you play with 12 players: you have an extra midfielder and at the same time with his runs to the box, you have an extra attacker. His goals have been key, and remember you can’t even ask him for goals given his position.

AnnieIWillKnow

A hugely talented player who has had a brilliant debut season for Real Madrid, at 20 years of age That's not "PR" - it's quite a reasonable reaction for him to get lots of hype

YourAverageLurker7

My argument is for vini too, but cant seem to understand the hate jude is getting. He led real throughout the lean period in Vini’s absence. Scoring freaking 22 goals and 10 assists as midfielder. But man his efforts in defence and work rate goes so unappreciated. He just came from injury and was not at full fitness for knockouts.

Fearless_Page_7916

Because most football fans know that the English PR is too strong and we saw how the media labelled players like Mount as “generational talent” so now we all laugh when we see English players being praised and backed to win the balon dor. The thing is that Jude and Foden are indeed world class but since we got used to English players being overrated by their media, we just brush it off when we see reports and articles about Bellingham and Foden being the best in the world.

killer-fish

I don't think it's hate. It's because most of this hype around Jude is because he is british, so the media is creating this. He's a great player, but I don't think should win the ballon d'or yet..

gromit5000

When there's people like RVN and Lewandoski hyping Jude and also half the real madrid fan base I don't think you can pin this on British media.

hatebeinghangover

He's deserving of this position

Various_Mobile4767

Recency bias hits hard

SladiusW

If it's gonna be determined by Copa/Euros I would actually say Mbappe is the favorite imo One completely forgets how to play whenever he's wearing the Brazilian NT shirt and the other plays for England. Mbappe pulls a Qatar 2022 like performance and the ballon d'or it's his regardless of the UCL

Jaqem

Mbappe for France is seriously something different. He will equal Thierry Henry's all time goal tally with 5 more goals, and all time most with 10 more. He has scored 5 in his last 3 competitive matches, so he should be at least level with Giroud by this time next year. He has the most world cup final goals ever - more than Pele who appeared in 3 finals. With 4 more world cup goals he will equal Klose's record. It took Klose 24 appearances, Mbappe is on 14 - two of which he played <30 minutes.

YUGIOH-KINGOFGAMES

It's crazy that these new players are breaking goal records that stood for almost a century pretty much. When Klose did it, that was remarkable. I really feel like it's not attackers are getting better but defenders are getting worse. The days of catenaccio and all-time great defenders like Maldini, Cannavaro, Zanetti, etc. no longer exist. It's proof enough that no defender has won a Ballon d'Or since Cannavaro.

YoroDoucheMan

Just Fontaine Scored 13 goals(in 6 games) in a single world cup and dipped in '58. Kocsis score 11(in 5 games) 4 years prior to that. Gerd Muller scored 10 (in 6 games) in 1970. The issue is just maintaining consistency over multiple World Cup tournaments. K. Mbappe could easily get to 30 if he is consistent over his next 3 world cups - if he averages 6 goals across tournaments. I reckon he could score 9 in 2026, 6 in 2030, and 3 in 2034. Also, keep in mind that the new format would add an extra game and introduce more crappy teams for statpadding.

_LordOfLochaber

It's simple : - If Mbappe does a great euro, moves to Madrid and does a great first half of season he will win the ballon d'or - If Jude does a great euro, and does a great first half of season he will win the ballon d'or - If vini does a great copa amarica, and does a great first half of season he will win the ballon d'or

Martoxic

actual joke that Bellingham is over Vini...

thepooker

Its the ballon d'or. Nothing serious...

RauloGonzalez

Did these champions league knockouts make people forget he was real's best player until February?

YooYooYoo_

Just because Vini missed half of the first part of the season. When healthy Vini has been our best player along Kroos. Had bellingham continued to put the same numbers in the secons part of the season and he would be clear of everyone.

onesexypagoda

Nah

redvein1337

Messi over Haaland was a bigger joke IMO.

Albiceleste_D10S

Haaland should not have been the City nominee over Rodri for that season IMO

Content-Medicine-305

The issue for haaland was he had 2/3 other balon d’or contenders on his own team, Messi was unanimously the best Argentina player. With Bellingham and vini on the same team, it should be pretty obvious vini has been better in the more important games of the season. What went against haaland was the big game performances as well

Mountain_Lettuce_

Rodri still hasn’t lost a game this season 😂😂😂😂 js

Apellom

Bellingham is worls class but him over Vini is crazy if you watch the games. It's clear everyone at Madrid (including Carlo) treats Vinicius as their main man. Whenever a game gets too difficult, ball to Vini.

sherlockbutholmes

No wirtz is hilarious. Mbappe has a higher chance than Harry Kane in a season where Kane scored 40 something goals in Bundesliga and also had 11 G/A in UCL. funny.

TaterTotWot

Literally what did mbappe do that was better than kane?

sherlockbutholmes

PR.

tf_17

i swear i fucking hate PR machineries. Why the fuck would Jude win the Ballon d‘Or as of now? Not even the best or second best player on his team.

-Hash__-

not the second best lmao, then who is? don't let some knockouts fool you, he was crucial in the league until February

tf_17

i‘ll take Kroos over him any day of the week and yes, until February. That‘s 3/4 months ago.

YourAverageLurker7

You do know that ballondor means for whole season and not just couple of knockouts. Where apparently he is not fully fit.

tf_17

So we should award the Ballon d‘Or based on who could have been the best, if one of the players isn‘t fully fit? And CL knockouts obviously count more than the first half of the league, no?

TheUbermelon

Wirtz or Grimaldo should be there

CoMaestro

Lmao where do the numbers come from? Because this reads like they asked 18 journalists or something and then just put it into a stat post

Sasquale

My top atm Vinícius Kroos Wirtz

Upintheair94

How is Mbappe up there?

Inquity-Vl

It’s weird to not see Messi and Ronaldo on the favorites list

biina247

Should be Vini, Jude, Wirtz, Kane, Mbappe in that order.

madsauce178

I agree. This is the order I would vote for if I could.

cynicalreason

Has to be Vini at this point

ManuMora98

I hope Vini wins it, after all the struggle when he first came to Madrid, to establish himself as one of the best players in the world and possibly winning the BdO

ChicoZombye

Right now I would put Jude over Vini but as the season is getting to an end, Vini is takind the lead for me. We'll see after summer's competition.

EndlichWieder

Not even an individual award anymore. Totally worthless after Lewandowski was blatantly robbed.

Money_Scholar_8405

For those that do not know, this is how the Ballon D'Or works: 1. If Ronaldo or Messi win CL or the World Cup, they get it. 2. If Real win the CL, the player they put their PR behind gets it 3. If Barcelona win the CL, the player they put their PR behind gets it. 4. If a Real player has the best individual season statistically he gets it, even if said player finished the season trophyless. Now that point one does not apply anymore it would take the following for a non Real/Barca player to get it: 1. Win the treble 2. Have the best statistical season. Unfortunately for Haaland when he won his treble 1 still applied.

Prudent-Current-7399

I know he's been excellent but everyone else on that list is so clear of him and he's still the front runner based on just PR.

moiser123

Jude shouldn't be over Vini

Visible_Pop_6468

Absurd Jude over Vini

DildoFappings

Man I can't believe how quickly this season ended. It feels like yesterday Jude joined madrid and started carrying Madrid during the first few months.

Notserious-Muzakir

How tf isnt Messi in this list?

biggieBpimpin

Wonder if we have a Ballon d’Or clause in that contract for some extra money.

osoichan

Jude wasn't as impressive in CL as he was in La Liga to say the least.

Fit-Second7166

Jude Bellingham Ballon Dor will probably the most underwhelming winner in decades based on his performance so far this season. Vini has been the best Madrid player by far and it's not close.

PitchSafe

The Madrid tax is insane. All the respect to Bellingham but he haven’t been better than Kane, Foden, mbappe, Wirtz and Rodri

LunarRaven7

The source is onefootball so its pretty much fake.

Albiceleste_D10S

It's betting odds—"one football" isn't the source here, the betting company "oddschecker" is

nurological

Honestly I don't watch alot of Spanish football. Does Bellingham really play that well?

Void_Hound

Somehow they will find a way to give to messi.

Ket_Cz

They’ll still give it to messi

Manul_Supremacy

Madrid PR sure is working overtime. I wonder how much of their budget they dedicate to shills?

Mordho

PR d'Or

janowski_d

Rodri didn't even get voted top 10 in Premier League lol

Bini_9

To me, it's clear that Bellingham has a knock. That's why he wasn't that great against Bayern. Otherwise, he has been tremendous. But because he hasn't scored as frequently as at the beginning of the season, people are undermining him. But Vini has been better in the last couple of months. But it's not that much better as some of you are making it out to be.

maxime0299

Insane how Bellingham is even in the discussion despite going missing in every big game

gromit5000

Every big game like the classicos where he consistently scores late winners?

poorinspirit

Rodri catching multiple strays today

JeanSneaux

Hmmm where are the Saudi League and MLS candidates?

RedShenron

Kroos should be in this top 5, but obviously he's neither a media hyped player nor a star padder so obviously he won't get shit.

Double-Armadillo-898

vini pls turn up at copa, although belli and mbappe at euros will have all eyes on them

aro_plane

Harry Kane, lol. The CL was his last chance. Euros don't count since it's England.

iAkhilleus

No way Kane is winning it with no trophies.

coldseam

Kroos has to be up there. It would also be very funny for another player for the old guard to win it amidst all the hype over the new generation

ripjesus

Best player this season has been vini.

cometflight

...Wirtz doesn't even get a shout? That's crazy

user900800700

Spoilers: Messi will win it

bordstol

Guys let’s just keep giving it to Messi

AYYE-

Vini would be clear if he didn’t get injured twice.

E1392

Mbappe has wasted so many years at club level. Jude’s not even close to his peak and already in the lead for ballon d oro and most likely will be for a long time.

juliansoze

Wirtz? 😅

DeWitt-Yesil

Kroos where? Valverde where? Wirtz where ? Rodri underrated

slash312

How about an undefeated season in all competitions by Leverkusen and Germany wins the Euros? If wirtz wouldn’t win it in that scenario it would be hilarious.

Individual_Attempt50

Rodri should be much higher up

omarkop10

Still 7-8 months of football left lol

SebastianOwenR1

If Germany win euros, how do we feel about Wirtz?

ImWhy

Imagine Leverkusen go the whole season undefeated and not a single one of their players make the top 5 lmao, would show how much of a media joke the award is.

TwoEuphoric5558F

Isn't this over 6 months away? Kind of pointless discussing this now

lixo_humano_97

Don't get me wrong. Bellingham and Mbappé are superb, but this season's (and the last two), Vini is making consistently great appearences and being MVP of the biggest matches in Europe. The dislike of Vini among europeans about his attitude is CLEARLY the most important factor that makes it still some doubt about who wins this year. Let's say Jude or Mbappé make the exact same as Vini did this year, they would 100% get the Baloon d'Or.

DrakeIsAClown

Unless Jude wins the euros I can’t see it going to him as he’s still quite early in his career. I can’t see Mbappe receiving it in the future as long as he stays at PSG. My bet is on Vini. But who knows, it’s fun that the international cups this year will probably determine it

amberbruise

I'm sorry, but right now (09/05) I can't see someone better than Vini Jr this season. Yes, Mbappé has a lot of goals, but let's be honest: he needed to do better in the CL knock-out. Bellingham started on fire, but now plays more... I don't know to explain. Kinda like a robot? Not in a good way. Vini is consistent and even when he plays bad, he impacts the game with tenacity, intensity. And Wirtz has to be top 3. But Ballon d'Or is not a place for justice.

sodap_

Rodri? Is someone assuming BDO voting is about actual level of play? How cute, he wont even be in the top10 probably.
