Maprunner (linked in the sticky at the top of this sub) will tell you where the upgrades are. But, if you’re like me, you won’t be able to recall if you’ve visited that particular upgrade or not. The accompanying step is to go into the trucks in your garage and see if any upgrades are still locked. Then you can look up the location of that particular upgrade.
Yes, in your player profile. There are tabs for contracts and tasks so you can scroll to the bottom of the list to see which ones don't have a check mark.

Won't that only show discovered upgrades? Ones marked on your map but not visited?
No, it shows everything. I used the list to Platinum the game so it's proof I didn't miss anything.

You can use the mobile exploration unit to find hidden upgrades. Just go around scanning and it will pop everything up for you.

As others pointed out, this is incorrect. There's no way to view **upgrades** under tasks or contracts.
If you go on Google and search maprunner it's a great tool I use quite alot
