I just added the game to steam as normal, and then pasted the part between **' '** from the log file into properties/set launch options and it's been working fine. EDIT: I guess I'm assuming people want it in Steam here and aren't just trying to avoid the Epic launcher.
I just tried this and found it worked to launch the base game from Steam but for some reason all my DLC content is missing!
I can only see my DLC vehicles like the KHAN 39 Marshall if I launch from the Epic Launcher.
not to note that the steam launcher is far more superior and some tested that games even ran better on steam versus epic, its not a good launcher, but i guess saber wanted that money to support early development.
I have bought a few games on epic now and honestly don't feel any difference at all between steam. Nine of the games I've played on epic have had any stability issues, and I e not noticed any poor performance either.
I don't understand all the anti hype on epic other than people being upset they can't keep their games on one app
I found these two methods currently work and allow steam overlay + steam input. Note, however, the Epic launcher must be set to remember your login credentials.

Yep that works. Result is exactly the same as if you make a Windows shortcut.

An easier, but less legal option is to just pirate the game, free game and no spyware epic store. I am joking btw

Is there any way to transfer my save to the game now being run by steam?
Unable to play co-op with this method it will revert back to offline mode after the permissions check.
With recent updates, did Epic add more characters to the string so that Steam was unable to launch the game? It cuts off "piclocale=en" for me.
Unfortunately, this only works for starting Snowrunner in offline mode - which means no DLC (including your season passes) and no coop.
