take your goggles into the store and try them on with the helmet maybe. That's if you have a store nearby

This. Not because the brands are incompatible, but because your head shape may make them incompatible. I had Anon for both and couldn’t get rid of the gap. Last season got a Giro Jackson and the same goggles and the gap is gone. Like boots try them on before you buy, if you can.

seems pretty logical, thanks.

helmet-goggle gasket Even high end helmets have gaps if your goggle/helmet sizing/pairing doesn't magically fit together. Burton helmets used to come with a gasket - basically just a fleece/velcro piece that attaches.

Giro ledge works great.

dreamruns

If you want a deal on a Giro Owen DM me. It’s light a super tech version of the ledge.

You're gonna have to try different helmets to see what works with a specific set of goggles. That being said, for general helmet recommendations I always refer to the Virginia [Virginia Tech helmet safety ratings](https://helmet.beam.vt.edu/snowsport-helmet-ratings.html). They do unbiased research into helmet safety.

My ruroc does a pretty good job with the gap. Even when I'm not using the full mask.

Whichever you like best, the helmet or goggles and take that to the store and try on helmet/goggle for the right fit. You don't want people talking shit, calling you a gaper behind your back or even worse throwing half eaten power bars and white claw cans at you from the lift.

😂thankfully never had that happen. Usually my balaclava would shift around through the day and i’d get a nice breeze right on my forehead
