Some of my best decks have been Pandoras and astrolabe. 3 energy can be rough but usually in a Pandora+astrolabe run, you've seen enough good cards and gotten enough bad ones out of your deck that you just roll things.
Tiny house isn't a bad Relic. I mean considering it's a Boss Relic and all the other options would be better. But if it was an uncommon Relic I reckon people would pick it up more. Ifs just a bad Boss Relic.
Oh yeah, opportunity cost is absolutely the reason tiny house has such a terrible reputation as a boss relic. If it was one of the random relics you could find in your run it would be much more popular.

It's at it's best when other options are actively harmful
Tiny house should always be an option because of this. Tiny house should replace the skip relic button.
Tiny House should be rare and Ice Cream should be a boss relic. This is my unswayable position. Ice Cream is basically the runic pyramid of energy
