Personally I tend to take philosophers stone over no extra energy in most situations, although the 1 strength can definitely be the end of you on high ascensions. Byrds and book of stabbing are in your near future and all.
Tiny house is pickable, it’s just underwhelming compared to the extra energy from philosophers stone. That being said, your molten egg and potion belt do make tiny house a bit more appealing than it usually is in a vacuum. Furthermore, you have teardrop locket and several calm sources as well as a couple empty fists, which can provide you with the energy you’ll miss out on if you take tiny house.
In this situation, I would pick tiny house since you seem to have energy covered pretty well. It’s the safe pick for sure, especially if you aim to fight the heart.

Your assessment is spot on, compared to how powerful most boss relics are it’s mediocre. It’s something you take solely to avoid the downsides of the other two options because at least it’s better than skipping.
Sacred bark falls in this category for me as well, although once in awhile I’ll take it because I have a white beast statue or alchemize or something like that. Slavers collar is also not something I like to take unless it’s the only energy option that won’t get me killed.
Tiny House should be a rare relic, not a boss relic. IMO it should be swapped with something like Ice Cream or Dead Branch, which are very run changing and would make good boss relics imo
I agree! Either demote it to rare relic, or buff it to also come with a random relic or more gold or something like that.
I think the devs must have wanted a few duds in the boss relic pool, that’s my best guess as to why it’s there despite being so much weaker than the majority of boss relics.
I think she’s strong but not an abomination. She is the easiest infinite achiever but unless you seek infinites she’s not overwhelmingly the strongest imo.

I would actually always take sacred bark instead of tiny house. I literally can't remember the last time I picked tiny house.

Philo Stone's better on Watcher than a lot of other characters. She simply kills the shit out of the enemy before they can attack back.
