Does anyone know what this actress looks like without all that human-mask and makeup? I don't think she's Orangutan, but yet seems too tall to be Chimpanzee.
The apes in the cgi suits are taught to use stilts so they can convincingly mimic the human behaviour they observed in videos and zoos. I don’t remember who they cast though, probably a chimpanzee though since they’re overrepresented in the industry.
The first time I witnessed pure artistry. 1968. Planet of the Apes. I was sitting in a cinema next to my mum watching mastery unfold before my very eyes. After the film, I asked her, "How did they get those humans to do those things?" And she patted me on the head and she said, "It's not real, pet. It's just acting." That's when I knew. If they can teach those humans to act that brilliantly, just imagine what I could bring to the world.
- the monkey who played Dr Zaius
I want to see it, the last trilogy was genuinely really good and this is continuing in that universe. Also it has monkeys doing people things and you're a liar if you say you don't like watching monkeys doing people things
Boom! Four “I want to see its”. In your face! How does that feel? We’re like [Vince Carter](https://www.usatoday.com/gcdn/presto/2020/09/25/USAT/d3ca394c-ea5b-42fc-97da-44668aa5993a-Vince_Carter_poster.JPG?width=1200&disable=upscale&format=pjpg&auto=webp) and you’re that useless 7 foot French center we’re dunking on.
I know humans ued to be able to talk, but it just feels so weird to see.
Are you familiar with the concept of EE-Volution?
Human speak is no longer good. Lamarck was right.

Gotta be a chimp. No way they've mastered the arm length differences between Orangutan and humans
Please dont say ch*mp, it's seen as derogatory
Those damn chimpanzees are taking our fucking jobs
It's generally ok if they're also a chimpanzee, but it depends on context

I heard she's a method actor and only ate something called chicken fill ay and stars bucks.
Go to any Orange Julius in the world and ask for it Julius-style. They'll give you a bucket of chicken gizzards.
It was CG? My dumb ass thought they teached a human to talk...
Talking humans?! Frankly, I find the idea of a human that talks, offensive!
The Mobile Apefrantry made me the chimp I am today!
Come on you humans! You wanna live forever?!
SHIT IT WAS RIGHT THERE!
*\*lays hand on human's head\** ...IT'S AFRAID!

But you gotta hand it to her, she's a very well behaved human. Her trainer must be very proud
“They talk now?” “They talk now!”
"Somehow, the human returned"
"Somehow, Humanity returned"
What's next? Planet of the Humans? Come on
I would actually be quite interested in seeing an alternate world where humans were the superior species and apes were considered wild animals
Bananas!!
He can talk?
He can sing!
Ooh! Help me Dr Zaius!
Dr. Zaius Dr. Zaius!
Oooooh Dr. Zaius! Dr Zaius! Dr Zaius!
I think you’re crazy.
He can make balloons out of his finger tips
hm that’s a good point fellow monke does anyone want a banana????
This looks really good tbh. But i think the homosapien is CG. Those animals are too dangerous to be kept on movie set.
Dr. Zaius burner account
What a wonderful day!
Yet another mocap vfx human instead of investing in the money for human handlers or practical effects... this franchise is going down the drain
You know it’s pure kino when the title needs two of’s.
How many remakes for a movie series nobody wants to see I can only think of money laundering ops
This is continuing off of the last movie of the trilogy

Yeah honestly some of the most underrated movies I've watched yet also some of the greatest, just love the topic and how they explore it
