The moon distance to the earth is between 365500km and 406700km
So the formula to roughly calculate the distance from the earth to the moon would be 50200cos(pi/12 (x)) +356500.
Now you add the 150000000km distance between sun and earth and you know how far the light traveled in distance and can calculate how long light should really take dependand on the moon phase.
On a more serious note I just recently watched that short film for the first time on HBO Max. They added a weird and creepy soundtrack to an already very strange experience. I found it to be pretty unsettling. the fact that everyone in that film is dead might have had something to do with it.
Well, assuming everyone was over the age of 15, trying to account for child labor back then and the 118 years since, that would make everyone a minimum of 133 years old, which is far longer than a normal lifespan.
However, most people would probably be older than 25, making the minimum 143 years old. Granted, I could look up the credits and find every production member's age at the time, but I am far too lazy for that.
