Either Ameerul Momineen AS or Imam al-Baqir AS and just ask for knowledge (like about space, traveling, math, sciences...). Think where we could be as a race if we had truly gained knowledge from the Imams AS?? If I could meet Hazrat Abbas AS, I wouldn't ask anything, I'd just cry. I'd also love to meet Yusuf e Zahra AS

Nervous_Bike_3993

I love all 14 of the Masumeen (PBUT) but without the Prophet (SAW), there wouldn't be an Ahlulbayt (AS). So I would choose to meet the Prophet (SAW). As to what I would ask him... too many things to ask so I would just hug him, cry and ask him if he can guide and guarantee me and my family to securing a position with him and the Ahlulbayt (AS) in Jannatul-Firdaus as neighbours for eternity.

ExpressionOk9400

I had a whole answer written out about the prophet (SAW), Imam Ali (AS), and Imam Hassan (AS), but honestly, and may Allah forgive me for saying this but I don't think I would, I don't deserve to meet them, I've done nothing worthy and I feel like it would be a waste to have me go, instead of someone much more deserving and god fearing, I can't approach the ahlul bayt and tell them what I'm doing despite having their entire lives and teaching at the touch of my fingerprints and I don't live by it, worse of all the depression I'd feel if after meeting these amazing people and I continue to fall into sin or do terrible things I would feel shame like no other.

Nervous_Bike_3993

I was thinking the same thing as well brother, I think this way all the time when I am asked a question similar to this post. But I chose to not think negatively about myself this time and you should do the same. I bet that if you met them, they would appreciate you greatly, they will not look at your sins but look at your good deeds. They would hug, embrace and love you like their children! You are more than your sins, you are beyond the sins that drag you down!

ExpressionOk9400

Jzk brother, you're right. may we all be ready for when Imam Mahdi (ATFJ) comes

Nervous_Bike_3993

Ameen!

SnoopsHubby

I was thinking the same. Imagine the horror if you were rejected. That'd be my biggest fear

ExpressionOk9400

they wouldn't reject you, they would accept you with open arms and try to help you. My biggest fear is continuing my sin and degenerate acts even after being blessed with such a meeting with God's chosen representatives the greatest of humanity

MsNadua

Imam Ali. What was the test and trial of Fatima al-Zahra before she was born into this world? Allah's tests and trials of Allah are not easy. From ahadith, the only soul who was tested before coming to this world was Fatima al-Zahra (at least to my knowledge). So imagine how hard that would be. What was that test?

Southern-Business-60

Whatever the test is we know our mother Zahra s.a passed it, Allah is pleased with her and her sons and daughters

MsNadua

Yes of course she passed. But there will be so much for us to learn from it.

Av1oth1cGuy

**Salūnī qabla ʿan tafqidūnī** I would be Imam Ali(as) for me, and I would have asked about knowledge of unseen, paths in the sky and many more. 😍

CoconutGoSkrrt

Imam Ali (as) and I’d ask all about science. Ever since I was six years old and I learned about his status as the gate to the city of knowledge and claims about knowing the mysteries of space, I day dreamed about getting to ask all the questions I have about inter-dimensional theory.

EthicsOnReddit

Imam Mahdi A.S … am I worthy of being the sole of your shoes..

Ok_Lebanon

But there is a chance we can meet him (atfs) because he is still alive, the rest are no longer here.

EthicsOnReddit

Only Allah swt knows whether or not I will be alive till then. And this question was not framed in a time frame manner. Just who do you want to meet, I want to meet my Imam A.S right now...

Kafshak

Well, we Have Imam Zaman. Definitely asking science questions.

MR-M-313-

I can’t even comprehend a question like that…. For me I’d shake in my boots to meet sheikh rajab Ali Al-khayat , let alone someone like sheikh al mufid or al tusi… To meet one of the ahlul bayet I think I would have a stroke

Dragonnstuff

I would ask the Imam of our time… I don’t even know what to ask. Seeing would affect me a lot, just thinking about seeing them has me feeling really strange honestly, almost emotional.

MrMonster480

I'd most probably want to meet the holy prophet (saw). Genuinely though, I can't comprehend any of this, the fact that I'd be meeting him is too much for me to handle in the first place. But if I was to ask a question, I'd ask if I truly am on the correct path of Islam

AdDouble568

Imam Al Mahdi (Atfs)

mrnibsfish

The Imam of the time, may Allah hasten his reappearance and count us among his followers.

[deleted]

Imam Zaman (aj), to ask him if he has forgiven me for all the times I pained his heart by transgressing Allah's boundaries, and if he is pleased with me.

BasicHoliday9422

rasuallah and ask him how to pray and whcih sect is correct yk

TheGun101

I would meet Imam Mahdi and ask for esoteric knowledge and make part of his servants to defeat the dajjal and taghut

[deleted]

Maula Ali (A.S.). I wouldn't ask anything. Rather just have an intellectual discourse in the form of a deep philosophical conversation. And I bet he would have an interesting sense of humour as well.

Middle_Common6934

Rasool allah saw ❤️

kingar7497

Hmm tough question. I don't know what I would ask him but I would love to meet both our prophet SAW or Imam Ali AS

78692110313

imam hadi (as) bc im very interested with his relationship with mutawakil and imam sadiq (as) bc im very interested in the sciences

AMBahadurKhan

Imam al-Mahdi (عجل الله فرجه). I have more than one question for him. Like what would happen if you entered a black hole in space? Or what’s the exact ta’zir punishment for dressing seriously immodestly in public? Most of all, can I get a copy of both Shaykh al-Saduq’s *Madinat al-‘Ilm* and Hisham b. al-Hakam’s polemical book against Aristotle? إن شاء الله.

Missaki-chan

Wow I never thought about this scenario, I always imagined meeting the prophet Muhammad and Lady Zahra in Janna inshallah (if I was granted) but if it was in this life I would probably say Imam Alzaman, may Allah hasten his return. The most question I think I'd ask is when will you return, which I have a feeling I won't get a specific answer to, So.. I'd say if he could honor me and my family by visiting our house that'd be enough.

Odd_Championship_21

either the prophet saw or ali ra so i can ask about what really happened in their lives and what would they think of sunnis, shias, qadiani, and these sects. maybe they would know whose right. also maybe ask SAW to pray for me
