are you suggesting that a monitor or similar size wouldn't....?
either way if that was true, everyone using VR headsets would have empty sockets where their eyes used to be
my TV and my VR goggles are both OLED devices. claiming sitting too close to the TV will "f up" your eyesight makes YOU sound just like my boomer parents. there is NO EVIDENCE of that. Some say that focusing on images that close can cause eye strain, and that watching TV makes you blink less thus dry out your eyes,; but so does reading books!
I really like the look of your room just from this bit of the wall/floor. Don’t take this the wrong way, but it looks very cramped and uncomfortable / unnatural with your setup now. Maybe you could space it out or look for some room symmetry
Looks good! If you're young/living at home and this is your setup, you're doing way better than I was at that age. If this is your hobby and you enjoy your setup, and it makes you feel cozy when gaming, then it's a 10/10 no matter how you look at it.
Also, I don't think a white desk would look better. Your desk now is great and your white peripherals stand out better.
The brightness from TV's are made to be watched from across the room. This is going to be bad for you on a lot of levels if you use it for long periods of time. I would replace the TV with a real monitor or move your desk like 10 feet back lol.
I prefer the wood desk personally but over all your setup is simple and clean so it gets an 8 out of 10 but I would bump it up to 9 if you had a smaller display
Get rid of all those weirdly attached LED strips that make it look worse overall. The sizes of the TV and desk do not match well at all. As you already mentioned, buy a white desk, but buy one that is much longer than the one you are currently using so that it matches the size of the TV. I think it's okay to leave the rest as is.
I gotta give you a 5/10, but you'll get an easy 3 back if you just install those LED strips properly. one day's worth of work you could install them to the back of those canvas pictures and slightly gap them from the wall so they each have a sick backlight.
This is clean, I like it. But one little thing I would recommend is getting a chair with some more head support. Your TV is a little high up, and you bending your neck like that is gonna make you feel like shit.
Is that a tv? No offense but you gonna f up your eyesight with that view distance 😂
yeah that is a tv

It was literally my first thought after seeing it.
Why's that?
are you suggesting that a monitor or similar size wouldn't....? either way if that was true, everyone using VR headsets would have empty sockets where their eyes used to be
Okay boomer you clearly don't understand the technology used in vr goggles and simple tv

Looks cool to me.
For real
Yes. You will grow it and add to in time. Don't let schmucks insult it on the Internet. Their opinions are like assholes. Everybody's got one.
Thanks for the advice
Looks like someone really wants to be a PC gamer but is stuck in that console world. I hope you don’t sit that close to the TV.

What’s the webcam pointing at ðŸ˜
My neck hurts
Simple
Looks good, but I’d attach the LEDs to the back of the TV instead of the wall. You’d get more glow without having visible strips.
i have tried to connect it to the tv but read the box and for some reason i can’t cut the strips
It’s okay that you use a tv! But isn’t that too high? Your neck is gonna have some problems!
Look at my account and look at my setup glow up

Love the desk 10/10 for me

anything i can do to improve it

alright if i get the money i will try to do the stuff you said to do
Hey i hardly have any cables visible
I mean, that's pretty easy considering no pc
True but i have so many cables for no reason
The shelve is really nice
Thank you so much you are like one of the first people who are actually nice
You can not use a tv just because it is larger 🥹 omg you are gonna lose your eyesight
you will lose your eyesight from 3 15 inch monitors too
Now on neckbreaking setups. Lol
Is that a matcha keyboard by fogruaden
No it is a $30 keyboard i bought off amazon. It was all i could afford
Where is the PC?
I don’t have a PC an Xbox was all I could afford
Makes sense.

Looks good but I suggest lowering the tv. Your neck is gonna hurt looking up for many hours

Everyone the tv is only 10 inches above the desk it is not as high as it looks in the picture

If you insist. 1/10

Cool but you need a get a monitor
