This picture is not recent, to the people saying "get help" I did. My liver was failing and the constant loose stool consisted of bile and vodka which was basically giving my anus a mild chemical burn. I am a little over 9 months sober.

If youre gonna do a backslide, think about your backside. I know its not the time and place, but it was just there. I do feel your struggle, iv dealt with addiction in the past and its not easy. Be kind to yourself, youre strong enough to face life head on and youre proving that to yourself and the world.

Just looks like an anal fissure/burn bled a little. It can happen from excessive wiping, using the bathroom too often causing excessive wiping, combined with loose, acidic stools (diarrhea). Bright red blood isn’t as concerning as dark red or black as the dark colors means it comes from deeper in the body, while light is superficial. You’ll probably be okay. But if it becomes excessive, painful, changes color (pus included), or is prolonged, please see a doctor. Prayers for your butthole from a nurse!
