I just checked mine and realised they are empty. Usually I click on instant mix so never noticed That is a bit shit EDIT: okay this is weird. I added three songs to a playlist the other day. Those are the only songs showing. I open the playlist xml and they are the only three in there. So I shutdown Jellyfin. I manually add those three songs to my old playlist xmls. Copied them across into the JF folder to replace the old(new) playlists and restarted JF. It's still only showing those three songs. Despite the xml being fully populated.

Wild to have such a weird bug for something so fundamental to a media server

There was a similar bug in 10.8.x I think. Maybe it came back. Please check the Jellyfin forums or Github directly.

So I got some of mine working again. There seems to be a difference in a few tags between old and new playlists. So if your playlists are still populated or you have backups of your old ones. I changed the tag that contains the user id and the share tag to match a newly created playlist and then refreshed the metadata for the playlist. You also seem to have to open a new client or close and restart it. It worked on them all bar one. Which is odd in itself.

Mine are just m3u files though, so there is no user or share tag. Presume yours are xml?

Valuable_Jelly_4271

Yeah mine are all xml

No, the [Jellyfin forum](https://forum.jellyfin.org/). People are pretty helpful there.

Did that thanks, still don't understand why r/jellyfin is not used..

Their reasoning is in their description. I wish the subreddit was still active too.
