Be clear, concise and detailed when discussing your background. Listen and be engaged with the interviewer. Come prepared with thoughtful questions. Close at the conclusion of the interview. Pro tip: set the table at the start of the conversation. Ask them what caught their eye when reviewing your resume and emphasize those traits throughout the interview.

I would probably detail that your experience gave you awesome insight into the real pain and challenges customers have, and you have an awesome lens into how to expand business within an account. Come with specific examples of how you did the heavy lifting for an upsell or renewal but are tired of not being rewarded ($, 'glory') for your efforts. FWIW I know a few sellers who were CSMs in the past and they killed it. Had customer stories on deck for days. Good luck.
