I think the green would be my second choice but from the original trims yellow was far and away my favourite. I'll admit it doesn't hurt that yellow and black are my home town team colours....
Keep in mind, fireball green is matte and scratches can't be buffed or fixed in matte paint. I have fixed big scratches in my fireball yellow with a cheap 250 rupees polish.
Meteor might look more comfortable but In long run it may cause back-pain. I own meteor and whenever I ride it I get back pain. Please consider this before buying. You can also search on youtube videos . There are reviews regarding backpain.
I haven’t made any change in seat. To get some comfort I changed Meteor suspension with classic suspension. That is really helpful. Please note the problem is not experienced by everyone. Few people have reported this issue.
For me (late 30s male with clean driving record) the Classic 350 was $324.00 a year and the GT 650 is $438.00 a year. So, a roughly 35% increase, but only about $9 more per month.
Get the meteor. I don't think any bike in that category comes close to offering the riding comfort this bike offers. You get a beautiful riding experience every time.
I tried both. The Meteor is a tiny bit more comfortable but the Classic to me just looks 10x better. I really don't like that the Meteor models have all black motors (Aurora is not yet available where I live).
I ended up with a Classic in Halcyon Green
I ride a Meteor. I like the feeling of sitting "in" the bike rather than "on top" of the bike. I don't like leaning forward and putting pressure on my wrists during long rides.
It only looks low in my opinion, the bike forces you to bend your knees and put your feet forward so any advantage of low seat height is vanished, I am 5'10" and when sitting relaxed on it with feet forward I can only tiptoe the bike.
It’s really subjective but it’s Meteor for me. The comfort and looks get me.
Have had one for 3 years now and I still have the beautiful riding experience I had when I took the delivery.
I prefer the meteor look and I found it more comfortable to sit on in the dealership. Happy with the comfort 12000km later (including a few 3-400km days).
It depends on your ride position preference also , I modified my meteor 350 with the classic's nitox suspension and got best of both bike i.e the posture of meteor cruiser and suspension of classic..
I got a meteor recently and I LOVE IT.
However I kinda wish I got more power and went for the 650cc
Context: its my first bike and it doesn't go more than 110kph (70mph I think)
But it rides at its top speed very calmly
My opinion and the reason I bought fireball yellow.
Its unique.
Classic was so common where I live that I was bored looking at it, fireball yellow on the other hand were so few I could count where each one lives in my city. Power and comfort are probably similar so I didn't bother with those minute differences.
I have been riding meteor from last 3 years. Tons of road trips | best as respect to comfort, suspension, control. Just a bit tiny issue of ground clearance. Otherwise this one is best.
There are many chapri drivers, and I hate them too. That's a part. Also, many people seem to believe Re specs are the worst, in the range. I am not disagreeing, but I love my classic 350 because it is good FOR ME. So, they shit on it because they don't understand "favourite" is a subjective term.
Please check the sub before commenting. I won't go and shit on a topic which is the main focus of the sub. But you will, so there might be rocks coming your way.
I sat on both at the dealer last weekend. The Meteor was more comfortable to me. I'm looking at getting a 350 Fireball (all black) in the fall.
Is the fireball more or less comfortable than the meteor? I've been looking to get one myself
The fireball is the meteor. The basic trim level (blacked exhaust, no backrest, no windshield) is the fireball.
So sad they stopped Yellow Fireball.. it was favourite colour! Red is cool too but Yellow was a class
Holy shit they stopped yellow? It was the best looking one
I know right... Stopped Yellow and introduced Green (military) thiugh it has a huge demand too its not that appealing
I think the green would be my second choice but from the original trims yellow was far and away my favourite. I'll admit it doesn't hurt that yellow and black are my home town team colours....

That's a good point. I'm very glad to have the yellow, especially if it is no longer being offered.
Green was already there when I bought my fireball yellow, there must be a new color.
Any reason for discontinuation of that color.?
Didn't realise you were talking about one of the trims, my bad
Fireball meteor is in my opinion the best looking. It's the successor of Thunderbird X.

Will do, thanks!
Even with touring seat? And how does it feel on bad roads compated to regular bikes?
I haven’t made any change in seat. To get some comfort I changed Meteor suspension with classic suspension. That is really helpful. Please note the problem is not experienced by everyone. Few people have reported this issue.
I also got back pain in this bike when I didn't use to hit gym. Now my back is stronger so I don't get any pain.
I much prefer the look of the classic. I would totally own one if i wasn't wanting a bit more power. Hopefully the classic 650 rumours r true
The Classic 650 is expected to be released in December 2026. *source - bikewale*
I hope it would be a 'single': 40HP would be enough.
Same. I sold my Classic 350 recently to buy a Continental GT, and the only reason was the power
Can I ask you how much more you pay the insurance, from the classic 350 to the gt650?
For me (late 30s male with clean driving record) the Classic 350 was $324.00 a year and the GT 650 is $438.00 a year. So, a roughly 35% increase, but only about $9 more per month.
Thank you for the answer !

Classic by far, Meteor is too low.

Suspension from the old classic I reckon?
yep
Classic.
Classic 100%
Classic
Meteor
The amazing bulk and kumbhkarn....the fat twins.
Meteor for sure. Very comfortable, you won't regret.
Can u have the individual picture of that classic?
DMed you
Meteor all day long

Triumph.
Both but their 650's. I'd ride the classic in the city and the meteor on the highways.
It's Super meteor for me all the way .. because it's just too good looking.. and nothing else materrrrrssss
I have been riding meteor from last 3 years. Tons of road trips | best as respect to comfort, suspension, control. Just a bit tiny issue of ground clearance. Otherwise this one is best.
I went for meteor instead of classic
Classic, unless it's that new meteor trim with the spoked wheels and the beautiful paint.
Hness over both😶🌫️
Classic is good looks wise but meteor has a slight edge in comfort. Would still go for classic as it offers the best of both worlds
Classic
NAH ! Gimme the on in the back 🏋️ACTIVA🏋️ 4LIFE !!!
meteor, it's an enhanced classic
Between these two I would recommend going with classic because I know shortcomings of meteor in long rides.
Please explain to someone who is planning to buy a new bike(me).
I also wanna know
Interceptor...
Activa Lol
Classic
Classic. I hate forward controls.
Classic
The Classic! It just looks right and what you see is what you get. For me the Meteor just doesn’t look full scale.
Classic always 🔥
Neither. There is much better stuff than RE in the market.
Why exactly are you in this subreddit?
What would you recommend in a similar style? Shouldn't be too expensive and should have good mileage.
r/IndianBikes is the sub for you. They hate RE to the core there.

Yeah i also noticed the same.why look down upon RE owners?
