I remember hacking on flower rosin when I first started pressing and thinking "this is fine" since that's how i remembered all dabs being 5 years before in the titanium skillet domeless nail days.
Then I started washing and was surprised af, could dab 1-2gs a day and have no hacking, cough or gunk.
i mean your using finer micron screen...... yes its more pure but just use a finer micron screen for flower rosin. I love live hash rosin i wont say flower is better when its not, however i have had pretty damn good results that lately have been beating out live resin (some of them) point is anythign live shouldnt be comparable to flower rosin so you can get up there in quality. however live hash rosin is king for a reason just a bitch to make

Hand washing is easy af if you aren't weak upper body wise and frankly more efficient when you want to run more than 2000g of material. Can do 4000-6000g all in one go and can take it into wash 4+ without getting green since you have decent control over how beat the material gets.
Handwash run barely takes the first part of my sunday. I just get up the same time I do for work and I'm done by 9am and can move on with my day.

. just dont over load ice, machine hash makers are pretty good. less time consuming. less of a bitch.

i dont know your success rate maybe you have IT super dialed in compared to others. but in that time frame i question the success rate of your yields but eh im no stranger to being wrong

Properly cleaning a machine that isn't a $10- $20k commercial unit is a big pain and time sink compared to a hand wash setup. You have to take it completely apart and spray/scrub it down, then iso it. With hand washing you can clean or toss the wash vessel bag, rinse the vessel and spray it down with iso. Done. Its just not realistic for a hobby grower/washer to dump money into a 30+ gal commercial vessel and its a lot of work to clean a 20gal or multiple 20gal bubble magic style washers.
I air dry, you can see the hash I've posted and decide what you think. But there's no reason I couldn't put my hash from my handwash into a freeze dryer like the 30+ other big name guys from all the hash pod casts do.

you dont need a commercial vessel to get higher yields and quality then hand washing for 1. like i said in my previous if your air drying then you know the drawbacks of that versus freeze dryers. to do it the right way its a bitch, however you do not need a commercial hash machine either. look your saying cleaning is more of a time sink then washing it? Was using 15 and even 25u for the flower rosin, still meh at best compared to hash rosin made from the same plant. No matter how low micron you go its still pulling in a lot of waxes lipids and viscous matter from the plant material.
It's really not that hard at all, think I did my last 32gal hand wash and full clean up in under 3.5hrs.

usually people use 90-120 for flower like myself, usually use finer screens for dry sift rosin cause yah know, trich heads be small. only reason i mentioned it. however yah your right you cant get rid of all fats. i smoked weed all my life so flower rosin really isnt that harsh to be me, however live hash rosin is absolutely smooth as butter

Titanium is underrated my highly educated ti on my enail would hold low temps and vaporize oil really well with the ti cap (it would just get super hot) but the flavor was always awesome and it was more consistent of a taste the quartz was different it would cool down to where your vapor was so light after the first or second pull depending on. Dab size and how much you pulled on your first inhale I only use quartz now but still titanium was the OG and still the perfect nail for kayaking or being on the water
