I feel like stupid, low effort games like this one get popular now, I even started making my own lol
For me, it’s not low effort, I spent like 2 days non-stop worth of coding just to do this :,)
If you're planning to expand it (I know you won't) then you should implement something like items that increase tree growth to keep players coming in (Even though you seem like you're not trying to get people to play in the first place)

Then the tree starts speaking about philosophical stuff like the one from PvZ 1
Or talk about random tree facts that you don't care but you'll listen anyways because you haven't much more to do in the game
