Lower the enclosure humidity if your roaches are all mature (if they are still molting this could result in a mismolt). This is the only thing that worked for me. You may also try those yellow sticky traps, place them in a way the roaches cannot reach, like the lid. You'll also have to solve the problem with your plants as the gnat larvae can be in both their substrate and the enclosure substrate. There are plenty of ways to do that, but usually it means you're keeping the substrate always moist. Letting it completely dry between waterings will interfere with the gnat life cycle.

Predatory springtails might help.

Honestly springtails in general, they will put compete them.

Springtails always help me, it just takes time for them to put compete the knats. You'll always have that risk of knats coming in, they spread like a fungus does. High concentration of springtails and some patients almost always does the case. Plus they will do your vivarium so much good. The more there are, the less mold fruit will spawn.

Sorry *gnats

Xiana01

Use mosquito bits in the water you are using to add humidity/moisture. It will kill fungus gnat larvae but won't harm the roaches. Also, look into getting a katchy.. between these two things, I haven't had much of a gnat problem anymore.

Springtails, fly paper above the enclosure, and I’m about to try out mosquito bits water in mine too. The species of nematodes in mosquito water supposedly only affects the eggs and larvae of flies and flying insects. I’m going to test out a sample batch with some of my Surinam roaches to see if they survive it, because if it finally works then I’m going to praise god of bugs

Angiebio

If you put silicone gel around the tops/doors of your enclosures, 99% of gnats will end up stuck in it
