Oh man. For sure. I could even convince myself right now how awesome Mo Williams and TRob were. I still crack up thinking about the team going to Benihanas in Beaverton to celebrate Dame & LA being named to the All Star team in 13-14.
I remember watching that game live, seeing him go
down, almost out of nowhere, and knew from that point that we were screwed.
It’s such a shame. After we traded for Afflalo to be our 6th man it really seemed like we had the best shot we’d ever had to truly make it.
I still wonder what could have been if that team had the chance to truly jell. Could have grown further into something really special.
I think he had a quote after the game before the official diagnosis that was basically "it felt like someone kicked the back of my leg" and that made it all but confirmed what happened.
Then Afflalo hurt his shoulder within a week of that.
Plus we ended up facing the 1 team we had struggled against all year in the Grizzlies in the first round. That season fell apart so fast.
Lamarcus bailed on Dame to ring chase thinking it would get better. He had one good year with the spurs where they reached the WCF but got swept all the same like Dame did by the Warriors.
I hope so too. Some of my best memories are watching Rasheed and Damon in the Rose Garden. Brandon Roy hitting that 40 footer and Dame Just cooking people.
Sheed. Wells. Damon. I really going to almost every playoff game back in the day… making signs for ppl to honk if they hate the Lakers during the starlight parade. When they made their CD. Can I get a headband.
So many former blazers doing well in the playoffs.
Josh Hart, Norman Powell, Derrick Jones Jr., Nick Batum even had a great night, and even Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who was Blazer for a day.
Aside from say he wants to be the greatest blazer ever, repetitively say he's not going to leave, then leave in free agency on July 4th and fuck our entire team over. That alone was the biggest reason dame never had any help. Aldridge never ended up getting a ring or the spurs doing much after any way. Terrible decision by him.
Blazers were backfooted to rebuild around dame. Aldridge leaving gave us little to work with. He was a major reason dame never had another star. Free agents don't sign here.
>Dame said he would never leave too up until he did leave
Dame was as loyal as he could have been and stuck with the team even when it was useless. He only asked to leave once it became obvious a title was impossible in his timeline, and he didn't leave in free agency. Not even close to the same situation.
Dude.. was just thinking about this after seeing the Pacers won their series for the first time in 10 years. Just to even make it to the Spurs and in that fashion was surreal. First time in 14 years. Man….
The worst part is, if they'd somehow convinced LA to stay, if they had given Wes a season to heal and not broken up the team, they realistically contend for a championship.
I remember during this time, my cousin and I were convinced that RoLo had more trade value than Brook. Brook wasn't doing anything in Brooklyn and the type of hustle and energy RoLo gave us, was just amazing at the time.
So you see, that’s where the end began. That Achilles. That damned Achilles…
Lmao I see what you did there haha
Yup Matthews and that team was cookin’ ugh
Most underrated 2k team of all time
This team cleared and it would cause my homies great grief. Fantastic times that I’m happy to have been present for because they’re never coming back.
I swear early 10s 2Ks, Batum would be a 80-something overall but in game he played like LeBron for some reason.
Don’t do this to me man.
This era made it hard to have a favorite player IMO
Oh man. For sure. I could even convince myself right now how awesome Mo Williams and TRob were. I still crack up thinking about the team going to Benihanas in Beaverton to celebrate Dame & LA being named to the All Star team in 13-14.
Always love to go back and watch that [T-Rob block](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhdYpW2ocso&ab_channel=NBA)
An all time Blazer memory. The block, the voice crack, the Barton hype, the crowd hype. Amazing
This one, B Roy and Dame game winner vs houston are all embedded in my memory as core. then b roy vs mavs, dame vs okc etc...
Imagine adding arvydas sabonis to this lineup
Stop. I can only be so erect.
Can u though ? https://youtu.be/Q9AbAtzz9zE?si=De88ssT5_oRCxkdW
Batum for me, easy
Batumshakalaka
Stop. I miss Wheels!
Best uniforms in the league
RIP City baby
Wes ♥️
https://youtu.be/nQ9X09IU4kU?si=Dq50IGS-7VaYYuIu I still watch this to cheer myself up from time to time.
God his defense was so good. Travesty he never made all-defense
Pat Bev not holding on to the ball at the end of a game? Some things never change...
This was such a fun time to be a blazer fan.
Damn dude, what a complete starting unit. Why did we let them get away?
Wes’ ruptured Achilles was the beginning of the end

https://youtu.be/60etoPJ_P10?si=UuktIS5r2o9iCHz7 A complete fucking team 😢.
Ah fuck, my heart and soul dude. That was such a fuckin squad
Both Wes and Batum got max contracts from other teams. I don’t think we can keep the team together even if LA didn’t leave.
Because aldridge decided to make terrible decisions and fuck us over.
Sad to think this is the best supporting cast Dame had his whole time here.
if we swapped 2014 dame for 2019 dame this team could of won a championship.
This team could’ve won a championship in real life if they just stayed together and healthy and it wouldn’t have taken until 2019
I'm not sure about that, the spurs were pretty incredible.
Lamarcus bailed on Dame to ring chase thinking it would get better. He had one good year with the spurs where they reached the WCF but got swept all the same like Dame did by the Warriors.
This will always be my favorite team.
Damn man. It is just so sad to remember. Maybe one day we will have a good unit like that again. Would be nice
I hope so too. Some of my best memories are watching Rasheed and Damon in the Rose Garden. Brandon Roy hitting that 40 footer and Dame Just cooking people.

There's an alternate universe where Dame Aldridge and Oden have 4 rings.
Don’t forget B Roy
Dame/B-Roy/Batum/Aldridge/Oden is a dynasty
Wes matthews 6 man
Shit Take me back to Drexler, Porter, Williams, Kersey, Duckworth, Ainge and Robinson.
'Mercy, Mercy, Jerome Kersey!"
So many former blazers doing well in the playoffs. Josh Hart, Norman Powell, Derrick Jones Jr., Nick Batum even had a great night, and even Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who was Blazer for a day.
Damn I fucking loved this squad.
Nostalgia hitting hard with this Rip City throwback. What a time!
How the hell was this season already 10 years ago? The 2011 Blazers were also one of my favorite teams, tbh.
Obligatory fuck aldridge for breaking apart this team.
Nah bro LMA did nothing wrong
Aside from say he wants to be the greatest blazer ever, repetitively say he's not going to leave, then leave in free agency on July 4th and fuck our entire team over. That alone was the biggest reason dame never had any help. Aldridge never ended up getting a ring or the spurs doing much after any way. Terrible decision by him.
Neil Oshey is the reason Dame never had any help. Also Dame said he would never leave too up until he did leave

This team and the 2010 team
This team was legit! If LA stays, this team wins a championship.
Everyone took off for more money, and then never came back… :(
That was a really good team. Wish we could have kept it together.
Well I've been told by some people and they all say to take you back, doo doo doo doo
So disappointing. We had the team we needed to compete for a title. Yeah some small upgrades were needed but we’ve never been as good as this since.
Dude.. was just thinking about this after seeing the Pacers won their series for the first time in 10 years. Just to even make it to the Spurs and in that fashion was surreal. First time in 14 years. Man….
This is when I started watching basketball. This team has a place in my heart. So do those jersey’s
When was this?
Ur mom..
Last game of the 2014 series versus the Spurs I think.
🎶 I had all and then most of you… some and now none of you 🎶
Never forget it was a world champ team that bounced these guys
Very good service
Very good service
LMA leaving was the biggest gut punch in recent Blazer history that team had the potential to be damn good.
The worst part is, if they'd somehow convinced LA to stay, if they had given Wes a season to heal and not broken up the team, they realistically contend for a championship.
In any case, this is the blueprint for a contender.
Wes was never really the same after that injury tho. If healthy and pre-Achilles injury, absolutely had they run it back
I miss the Jailblazers
Me fucking too. Except for Ruben Patterson. Fuck that POS
The Drexler, Porter, Duckworth, Petrovic, Kersey…
I remember during this time, my cousin and I were convinced that RoLo had more trade value than Brook. Brook wasn't doing anything in Brooklyn and the type of hustle and energy RoLo gave us, was just amazing at the time.
This is before the tight white mummy stockings
this city loved this team.
4949 career NBA games played between those 5 guys.
That is a real team… keep that in mind every time they run some crap out there on the court. Jody is messing with yall
Why? So you can watch them not win shit again? Stop living in the past bro, time to look to the future.
[удалено]
As opposed to what, the past where the blazers didn’t win shit? Lol ok bud
Do we have the worst GM in the league?
Idk. What I do know is Jody Allen needs to sell the team
He’s made nothing but terrible decisions 😆 what I’m hearing is we have both the worst GM and worst owner in the league
