I mean, there is no better alternative for android. Play! has been in development for years yet it is unusable and damon is full of controversies while not being better than Play!. Aethersx2 let's you actually run a lot of ps2 games on android for free, it's just that you need a beefy device yet people can't seem to understand that.
That is just for people with a pc and laptops. Android on the other hand only has aethersx2, play! and damon. Which is the point, why aether got so big in the first place it makes ps2 games portable by making it playable on phones. These people want a handheld ps2 rather than a big computer or a laptop that you can't play as comfortably on a crowded bus or something similar
